Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

The AHCA will do nothing to help. It is a case of doing something just so they can say they did. It may even make things worse since it keeps quite a bit of the ACA laws and eliminates others. A partial repeal may be worse than a full repeal. One thing Obama was right about, you can't cover everybod...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

These bozos have had 7 years to develop the legislation needed to fix this. They will be abject failures. Sarcasm The GOP will save us. /Sarcasm As I contemplate the Republicans and how they are handling things, primarily healthcare, Leon Lett and these two plays keep popping into my head. http://y...

Republicans delay healthcare vote as rebels defy Trump Conservatives are pressing to eliminate more of the government requirements embedded in Obamacare, but any concessions to them risk alienating moderate Republicans worried about people losing health insurance. Barack Obama also weighed in on th...

Re: Businesses Posting 30.06/07 Should Provide Safe Storage

Why do some believe a business should have to accomodate the customer's wants but the customer shouldn't have to accommodate the business' desires? Both parties have rights and putting an undue burden on one is not right. No need to start talking about businesses being required to accommodate certai...

Congratulations and Condolensces.

Seriously, that is quite the accomplishment. I'm sure it will take some getting used to but best wishes with the new career.

Only California gun law I know is the one that says guns aren't allowed and to give them to mojo84.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Just how deep and hard has this issue been investigated? I am having a very difficult time believing the heads of the FBI, CIA, IRS, NSA and other similar government agencies lately. Therefore, I am skeptical about their claims there hasn't been targeting or illegal surveillance. I've detect the way...

I really hope we all agree just because something is legal it doesn't make it right or moral. I really hope we all agree just because something is illegal it doesn't make it wrong or immoral. ;-) I agree with both of these statements, as should anyone who thinks about it for a minute. There are man...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Lighten up - a little humor goes a long way. If you don't recognize, of late, you seem to be angry about everything. That's an observation, not condescension. There was no humor in your comment. Don't try to whitewash what you said. Don't confuse passion and confidence for anger. I see first hand w...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

mojo84, No, on this subject it seems like we're both saying essentially the same thing. You are one of the ones on the board constantly in some form of uproar about....everything. Pick a subject, any subject and you're ready to do battle. A Yosemite Sam of the board, rootin, tootin, gun shootin...y...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Jusme, I like the way you think. Plus, you state your opinions without being obstreperous or condescending. Doing so is much appreciated in this current air of so many board members seeming ready to blow a gasket over even a tiny amount of disagreement on a wide variety of subjects. Now, I'm going ...
