Re: TX: 70 year old Houston man murdered in HEB parking lot

My first thought, which is pure speculation, it was a gang initiation.

Re: I won a Windham AR for $390

I think at $390 it's a win.

I can't remember winning an auction and feeling like I won or got a good deal. Glad it worked out for you. Happy shooting.

Regardless what you are convinced of, you modified my post to make it appear I was referring to something I wasn't.

Who's home? "I don't know (who he is); my son doesn't know him; the owner of the home doesn't know him," says Steve. "My son was where he was supposed to be - inside his home with his legally owned firearm," Steve Nelson says. "He opened up the door because he was standing h...

Re: Anyone go through the FAA Part 107 process?

I am an agent. However, I have not hired a drone operator. Only placed their coverage.

One of my clients uses their drones for environmental aerial inspections. There are others that do real estate inspections and aerial photography. Others use theirs for wildlife population surveys.

I didn't realize your original post was several months old. You are correct about the insurance coverage. That is what I found for my clients.

Re: Anyone go through the FAA Part 107 process?

I recommend general liability and UAV liabilty policies at a minimum. The UAV coverage can be purchased on a per year or per flight basis. Whether you insure the drone for physical damage or not is up to you to decide if it is worth it.

Re: Crypto-currencies

Apparently, Google noticed I was doing a little research on crypto currencies and they provided this article in my feed. Thought some of you may find out of interest. I have no clue about its credibility. I'm still intrigued and will continue to investigate as time allows. Ethereum Alumni and Cardan...

Re: Crypto-currencies

I'm intrigued. I have to admit it is a bit of a challenge to wrap my mind around it but it has my attention. All great innovation is met with significant resistance and lack of understanding. Not everyone calls I to the early adopter category.

I'll continue to research as time allows.

Re: Arrests

Rmonty, If it were me, I'd contact the county where the arrests were and ask them for the documentation showing the final dispositions just to have on hand. I suspect you'll get a letter requesting it and it will expedite the process of you have it ready to send. The other option is to go ahead and ...

Re: Arrests

Did you disclose the arrests and provide complete documentation regarding the final dispositions at the time you submitted your app? I'm sure it's common for any potential blemish to slow the process down some.

Re: Oregon Governor signs bill effectively confiscating guns

This is a very challenging topic. We keep saying that it's not the gun but it's the person that does the harm with the guns. So, quit blaming the guns and focus on the people that are troubled and may do something to harm themselves or someone else with a gun. If we are going to keep placing the res...
