Not sure I would put to much credence in what I heard second or third hand. I think there are quite a few first hand accounts of police spokespersons saying it has been a non-issue.

It even more remarkable in my mind because of how anti-open carry some of the chiefs were/are and how vehemently they opposed the bill.

I too, am very pleased with how the law enforcement community has responded. I had some concerns prior to January 1. However, I have been very surprised and pleased.
