Re: Thinner gun belt

You might take a look at the Maxpedition Liger gun belt. https://www.maxpedition.com/products/1-5-liger-gun-belt?variant=31916865169 I wore mine for a couple years carrying either my M&P 9c or my Shield and two extra mag pouches, plus keys, and all the stuff in my pockets. It's only 5/32 (.156&q...

Re: Mossberg Shockwave

I just got off the phone with Buds regarding my reserve order for this firearm. They are saying that they just got word that these firearms are not legal in the state of Texas, so they needed to cancel my order. Unfortunately, she was not able too give me any details. Has anyone else heard about th...

Re: Arlington Homeowner Shoots Car Burglar

Since the crime was being committed at night the use of deadly force was justified according to state law.

Re: Recommendations for a hand-held "tactical" flashlight

Check out the TerraLUX TT series of lights. I've been EDC'ing the TT-5 for about four years now. Lot's of good features including momentary on, a dedicated button for direct-to-strobe mode, and a crenelated bezel. They now also make a USB rechargeable model. Comes with a pocket clip, lanyard, holste...

Re: AIWB help please

I EDC my Shield in a Squared Away Customs Kilo AIWB with a G-Code clip for quick don and doff. http://www.squaredawaycustoms.com/kilo/

Mark is a great guy and SAC has great customer service. Their Alpha model is also worth looking at. http://www.squaredawaycustoms.com/alpha/

I thought I recognized that storefront. It's been there for a while, they just changed their name. I bought a gun there last spring. The old website mentions the new one...

Change of Address Versus Renewal Question

I'll be moving in June and my CHL expires in October. I just renewed my drivers license in October last year so I'll simply be putting in for an address change for that. I'll probably do the DL address change a week before I physically move. My question is, can I go ahead and apply for a renewal of ...

Re: Gun In Purse discharges in hospital

I saw this story earlier and wondered what kind of gun it must have been to fire from being dropped. It didn't occur to me that it may not have been in a holster. It makes sense that a lipstick or something could have gotten into the trigger guard and caused the ND. So sad to hear about stories like...

Re: Iwb and open carry

"As long as the handgun is holstered I can't see how IWB or OWB makes a difference." I have, in an other state, been asked why I was not using a holster when I was carrying in IWB. This possible confusion makes me think that the risk of the uninitiated or the antis calling 911 to report M...

Re: Iwb and open carry

I have been curious of other opinions on this and I'm thankful for this discussion. In my non-professional and obviously untested opinion this is a non-issue. I have already considered using my normal CC IWB holsters but not having to worry about maintaining concealment at all times. Not that I woul...
