Not sure how you consider Paxton a Craddick minion. Joe Struas is beholden to the Minority party or hadn't you noticed that 65 Democrats elected him? That is who I want serving as speaker of the house, someone who was elected by the minority party.

That was Last year. Paxton is a one of those Democrats who discovered it would be more convienient to be a Republican. This whole thing really is about Cradick Loyalist vs Cradick treachery.

I feel dirty even talking abut these 3 wrestling pigs. None of the 3 aren't in it for the cause, they are in it for themselves. The more this fight goes on the less we will get done this session, the dirtier it get gets the more they look like Democrats and the more likely we are to lose Reps in 2013. I disagree! Straus has already showed his colors. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me! Straus may or may not have the votes, but the fact remains he is way to liberal to be holding the Speaker of the House seat. The Voter ID bill will be introduced again and we all know that Straus does not support it.

I guess you missed the part about Straus threatening to redraw districts so that those who don't support him would be removed. Sorry not interested in seeing this man lead this session. I hope he gets removed. You may not agree with the infighting but sometimes those things are necessary in order to stand behind the conservative principles the people of Texas have said they want.

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but Paxton ran and was elected in 2002 as a Republican and is considered a hard line conservative. He is supported by the NRA, TSRA and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

My new Texas Legislator Bill Zedler has endorsed Bill Paxton as the new Speaker of the House! I hope that we can get rid of the RINO Joe Straus and move on to getting things passed that will help all Texans this session. Bill also supports the Voter ID bill which I hope will finally pass this session as well.
