Re: Old Charles Krauthammer quote - disturbing

That was written in 1996 and who knows what his current view is but probably not pro-2A. I wonder if he considered Nazi Germany a civilized society when their Jewish citizens were disarmed. I would bet that many of his relatives were killed in Nazi concentration camps (as my relatives were) and yet ...

Re: CA: SF security robot smeared with poop, when will they rise up against their evil masters?

Homeless is someone whose house just burned down. These are bums, drug addicts, mentally ill, alcoholics. We previously called them bums. California right now has many homeless due to ravaging fires. I feel sorry for the homeless, not the bums. Last time I went to SF there were bums in the streets e...

Look at Galco CarrySafe Holster. There is no perfect way to purse carry but this is better than no holster. My wife has one.

Pretty cheap at targetsports and don't forget there is a rebate on these right now. Never used them.

Re: Retired military commanders urge Congress to address 'gun violence crisis'

These officers don’t speak for the American people or ‘most gun owners’ (certainly not for me!), so it’s interesting that they’re criticizing Congress (the people’s elected representatives , by the way). Without further information, I would also disagree that as a group they’ve had ‘considerable fi...

Re: AZ: Police release graphic video of officer involved shooting of Texas man

In the death of Erik Scott there was contagious fire. The first police officer fired then the others fired. Here only one police officer fired. Did the other officers not see the immediate threat to their lives? No, they probably just saw a man trying to pull his pants up as he did his best under t...

Re: Kydex OWB Glock 43

In case you change your mind I really like the DeSantis miniscabbard runs around $40 at Amazon. Leather but for me nicer than plastic. I have several of them, easy on and off the belt. I have Kydex holsters too for IWB but leather is nice for OWB in my opinion.

Re: Bottom Handguns!

I am sure that there are brands that are pure Saturday night specials that should be avoided but I think that for major brands each model needs to be looked at individually. Remington recalled the R51. Ruger recalled their Mark4. I subscribe to Guntests.com which usually gives a pretty good non-bias...

Make sure you get some cheese cloth or something to filter her urine so you can hopefully catch the stone. My daughter had one recently and it was incapacitating for her. Prayers for your wife's speedy recovery.

Re: D.C.: Al Franken resigns - he made me laugh for the first time.

I don't think that plays well for the dems. My guess, he stays either way. If a Dem wins, there's no election focus and he can simply decide he's not running for reelection, if GOP wins, they claim moral high ground. Gambit here is Moore wins and then resigns to a GOP appointee. In the end, politic...

Re: PA: Philly wants "Freedom to rob". Bill to ban bulletproof glass passes committee

The Houston Bank of America I use has the plexiglass barriers. It's in a reasonably safe area. The criminals can't shoot the tellers, but they can put a gun to the head of a customer and demand money. Yes and the bank is posted. All of them are. My feeling about using BofA is that you are already b...
