Re: Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX 36) thinks he's better than you

Babin said: [Congressmen] are high-profile targets of lone wolf shooters, as we saw [June 14]. We are also high-profile targets of Muslim and other terrorists, and that distinguishes us from the general public. The general public needs to have the right to bear arms to defend themselves from crimin...

Re: The Dangers of Shooting On Concrete

So how did the officer who got bitten also get shot in the knee? Another "skip round"? Perhaps there is more to this story than skip rounds. Who knows?

Re: Recourse against employer who disregards SB 321?

If you follow the legal route you of course will need to be looking for a new job. On the other hand, how will your employer know what is locked in your car?

Re: Walked out of Academy Last Night

The issue is the law that requires the store not to sell ammo to under age people. How they document compliance with that law is up to them but asking for your birthday is a good way and that's what the software does. Fight the law not the store. You people are making a mountain out of a molehill. I...

Re: Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX 36) thinks he's better than you

From everything I see Brian Babin has an excellent record on 2ndA issues. I don't take this as a "he's better than you" issue. I take this as a grab the sentiment moment and get something passed now which can be a stepping stone to reciprocity for all. There is a target over congress peopl...

Re: Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX 36) thinks he's better than you

if it passes can be a stepping stone for more inclusive bills Please provide an instance where an exception to a firearms law for a favored group was later expanded to include the general public, especially on the federal level. I mean I guess there's a first time for everything, but Rep Babin isn'...

Re: Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX 36) thinks he's better than you

I don't think many Dems will vote for this. I think this could be a stepping stone to further legislation giving reciprocity to LTC carriers. Right, just like happened with LEOSA. Not so much dems voting for it but if it passes can be a stepping stone for more inclusive bills and dems will carry if...

Re: Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX 36) thinks he's better than you

We already have similar laws in Texas such as allowing judges to carry where we can't. Retired LEO can pretty much carry everywhere I believe. They may not be better than us but congresspeople may be at more risk than we are and the choices are that we provide them security at all times or we let th...

Re: Dangerous Traffic Stop - Minnesota Police Officer

I wanted to share a video released this evening of a Minnesota Police Officer that defended himself during a traffic stop. This video shows what not to do when you are pulled over by a police officer and are carrying a weapon. In my opinion, this tragic event could have been prevented by simply fol...

The Ruger LCR .38 that my wife didn't take to is my dog walking gun. Drops into my shorts pocket or sweats nicely. Even has a couple of "shot shells" in it for snake charming, since Jethro got bit on the muzzle by a copperhead one evening last summer... Jeff B. Have you tried shooting sho...

Also ammo type. Hollow point in NJ legal only at the range. Bad enough that it is hard to carry a firearm but a felony with certain ammo.
