Re: Oklahoma House passes "Constitutional Carry" bill

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/04/26/oklahoma-house-passes-constitutional-carry-gun-bill.html I dunno.. I'm all PRO carry (obviously). But untrained, unlicensed folks walking around with a concealed firearm... Just don't know how I feel about that. I previously held the same views. Previously...

Re: NYC: Anti Semitic attacks increase. Would this happen if NY was shall issue

As a New York City born Jew, The Bronx and Manhattan, I would say that Jews in general would not get a handgun even if they could. My grandfather had a luncheonette in The Bronx, was frequently robbed and was offered a handgun license by police and refused. Of course that was 75 years ago. Who knows...

Re: Is Cornyn's time up?

I honestly don’t think Cronyn is pandering to progressives. He is pandering to middle-of-the-road soccer moms and suburbanites. He doesn’t need and will never get progressive votes. So the real issue is do soccer moms and suburbanites give a hoot about national reciprocity, etc. ? If they dont, the...

Re: “No Firearms on Premises” Sign

So, the answer seems to be that perhaps a No Firearms on Premises sign does have legal bearing for a long gun even if one has a LTC. Perhaps. I guess it might cause one to take "the ride" or perhaps not depending on the LEO involved. The point seems to be that it is unsettled.

Re: Is Cornyn's time up?

What specific things are people critical of? 1 vote senate majority and takes 60 to pass something. What do you expect Cornyn to pass? I see no better candidate out there. I am curious as well. Here are some things that I have questions on about him. 1. he voiced support of a bump-stock ban 2. he s...

Re: Is Cornyn's time up?

The way things are going, I know a few people who may not self-identify as Republicans in 2020. On paper or reality? . Reality. They didn't repeal Obamacare. They didn't eliminate any Federal anti-Bill-of-Rights zones like USPS or COE wetlands. They didn't pass national reciprocity. They did suppor...

Re: “No Firearms on Premises” Sign

Gun buster sign by itself, or any other rendition of a sign that is no guns permitted, carries no weight of law. A card with the 30.06/30.07 verbiage handed to you does. Any verbal communication that you can't carry does. Of course, a 30.06/30.07 sign properly posted does as well. Carries no weight...

Or a 12 gauge with some buck shot.

Yup, #4 buckshot in a Maverick. Inexpensive and awesome.

Good question. I would assume all are fixed but Sig website shows how to tell.

I sent a letter too. What a poor business decision to make and timing is everything. But then they are based in Austin. This will hurt them big time.

Sig P365 at Academy on sale today

Went to the local (Wichita Falls) Academy and asked if they had one. They did with list $499.99 and today everything 10% off. Very tempted but passed. Felt very nice though. Seems to be a VERY hot item.

Re: Would you buy this 1911?

My only experience with 1911 is my Ruger SR1911 full size. It has never failed and none of my Glocks have ever failed. My 1911 has the best trigger. The only bad thing about a 1911 is limited capacity. Personally, I love almost every gun I own. I own almost every brand. Even like my Taurus. The only...
