Re: SIG P938 Review - 1st shots

My wife loves her Sig p320 romeo just back from Sig after the trigger recall. Their service was excellent with an 8 day turnaround. I don't know if you ever read GunTests but they are like the Consumer Reports of guns. They give the P938 a D rating. If you want to find magazines that normal humans c...

Re: Now this is the reason why I carry

You did that perfectly and as everyone has said, I agree. Lucky you did not have to use your weapon but you would have been justified. Could have been 3 dead crooks. Making me rethink the size gun I am carrying. Need bigger than a .380 with three bad guys.

Re: Liability of business owners who ban licensed handguns

As for hospitals, are they taking tax money? Yes, I know I sound like a lib. Yes, almost all of them take tax money. And those that are "non-profit" which is a true misnomer pay no property or sales tax. What does them taking tax money have to do with 30.06/07 though? There are 2 hospital...

Re: Liability of business owners who ban licensed handguns

I do not see that any of the business or private properties can require that you do business with them or go to their property. It is the right and decision of the LTC holder to go to these places, so they have made the choice to unarm themselves, (fully knowing that they are disarmed) and go into ...

Re: CC in banks

Late to this thread and don't blame the OP for asking a question about carry. To all those that use Wells Fargo I suggest you hide in shame as you are dealing with the most crooked finance company on the market. Bank of America takes the second spot.

Re: Liability of business owners who ban licensed handguns

I am concerned for my friends who don't carry. I think you are doing as much as you can do and there is no liability for the complex owners if someone is shot without having defense of a concealed handgun. On the other hand, let your friends who don't carry take care of their own exposure. Are they...

Re: Why do we need 30.06/7?

I guess we are for now stuck with 30.06/07 laws as a compromise to get concealed carry through the legislature. My personal feeling is that a business open to the public should not be able to post 30.06 but could post 30.07 as open carry might upset other patrons. But nobody cares about my opinion. ...

Re: Southwest pilot arrested after gun found in carry-on luggage

I believe the exemption in Texas is only if you have an LTC and are carrying or have it in your bag as you go through the non-secure to the secure area. If they find the gun than you can go back to the non-secure area area without being arrested. I do not think this covers having a gun in "chec...

Re: Things and Sayings That Annoy!

"Common sense" gun laws. I guess it depends on how you were raised. My boys, (as do I) believe common sense gun law would mean any firearm you can afford, carry and shoot or want. I agree completely. But when a democrat says common sense gun laws it's like nails scraping on a blac...

Re: Brandishing

I was just remembering the story of the lady that heard something in the alley behind her house, called the police and when they got there they shot and killed her. Not that long ago. The op at minimum should have called police and reported things before his neighbor did. I don't think it is unusual...

Re: Neighbor Spoofing

I use an app on my iPhone called “Hiya Caller ID and Block by Hiya” which helps to identify SCAM/SPAM phone calls, and if you discover that a number is a SPAM caller and they’re not in the Hiya database already, you can add them, along with comments about the call, what the caller said or was tryin...

Re: This Gun Instructor Says Many Who Carry A Gun Aren't Trained To Respond To A Shooter

If one uses the title of this post alone I would tend to agree. Not going to argue the merits of the "gun instructor" in this case. There are really only 4 options in a shooting like this, run, hide, volunteer to take a bullet so others can flee, or fight back. I would say most of us would...

Theft at night alone can be a reason for deadly force (5:00 am is night).
