Used to have one. Never used it and it expired in 2015. Now I feel dumb for not renewing it.

Need advice, travelling to State of Washington

So, I am heading off to the State of Washington (Seattle area, but not that city) on a very necessary business trip. They do NOT have reciprocity with Texas due to our issue of LTC to those under 21 (military). Also, you cannot have a loaded firearm in your vehicle without a permit/license. Open car...

Re: How Far Would You Go To Help?

Way back in the good old days when men were men and the women were women, criminals were dealt with appropriately and the justice system meted out justice appropriately and you could count on this fact if you decided to intervene in situations. It ain't that way anymore and if you act as if it is y...

Re: How Far Would You Go To Help?

TAM, at age 74 carrying a .380 with 6 in the mag if I pulled my gun I would have to use it and reload with as many as were involved. Not a situation I want to be in. I know the court decision that says police don't have to protect. They didn't say I have to protect someone else. I think of the 3 gu...

Re: How Far Would You Go To Help?

Some folks have done well financially, and can afford to take a chance on needing expensive lawyers to extricate them from precarious legal circumstances. Kudos to those folks, I'm happy for them, zero sarcasm intended. Others of us are just regular blue-collar folks who do well to pay the bills, ke...

Re: How Far Would You Go To Help?

The incident in the video brings to mind several things for me personally. First, though I didn't move to a rural area because of multiple assailant crimes, it certainly lowers the chances to be the victim of such. Second, I tend to stay out of large, Democrat Party-controlled cities due to that sor...

Did you consider the Mossberg MVP line? There are several different models in the line. They have the added attraction of using AR mags in .223/5.56mm.

Re: DC: Fed Court of Appeals rules public carry of firearms a "core" right

The problem I have with their wording is when they say "responsible." The 2A doesn't say that and who gets to decide who is "responsible?" That can be pretty broadly applied and abused. Just like NY and Cali say. Responsible = cash and political influence you have  I un...

Re: Woman calls 911....Get shot

If the police officer in the passenger seat didn't shoot the woman on purpose for some reason, then the only thing that fits is an ND. However, in either case, most likely the whole thing occurred due to poor training . The liberal disdain of firearms (and thus probably a low budget for firearms tra...

Re: Disclosure of information on weapons involved in ND's and other mishaps

So, the man in the story has had two incidents where guns just "went off"? Something quite smelly about the whole thing. Oh, yes, it certainly would be nice to know what sort of firearms were involved and what had been done to them.

Re: Are White Gun Owners Protecting the Second Amendment or Their Racial Interest?

Right now, the tide is running against the political left/Democrat Party regarding gun control. So, they try to use any little tactic or stunt they think will garner them some support. Pretty crude tactic, of course.
