I guess this life style change is working

Today marks two weeks without sugar. Running 3 miles a day...no meat, dairy or flour. No caffeine! The change has been fantastic! I feel great! Zero candy, cakes, coffee, alcohol! A healthy diet, a healthy VEGAN diet, gluten-free, caffeine-free, sugar-free, and an hour workout every day!!! Now, I do...

Re: Let's Really Protect Our Schools

I agree, I think that all should be taught and tested so that they know what would be expected of them. I know a lot of folks that were paid to carry firearms but they do not even know how to properly clean theirs. Proven experience should be accounted for, but only after it has been proven and demo...

Re: Gun safe in garage

Thanks for the reminder to order a Goldenrod. The heater in my safe had gone out some time ago and I used several desiccant packs through out. I did recharge them every 3-4 months. Sealing doors? NO! If you do use a heater such as a Goldenrod, you must remember it is heat that is attracted to cool, ...

Chas.

:iagree: If anything we take way too long to execute (permanent rehabilitation) those who have been found guilty with irrefutable evidence.

Re: Spooked in a WM parking lot

good grief, I thought this thread had died. sigh.... 1. I don't believe I ever said I would or I wouldn't have drawn on the guy. I said..."if he had intended me harm, I wouldn't have had time to do anything" I also said that he shouldn't have been there, the polite thing would have been t...

Re: Spooked in a WM parking lot

Another thought regarding getting spooked by proximity...park far away from the madding crowd. I see people circle in parking lots until a space opens up as close to the store as is humanly possible. Then, they are tightly confined with vehicles left/right/fore and aft, but, but, but they're closer...

Re: On-line Student Proficiency

My last hour and a half of my class will consist of gun and range safety and handling (which should be part of the online course as well) I believe that would suffice without further instruction of DPS. The cost of this would be 50.00 plus range fee. If they want a one on one then double that.

Re: Sending LTC-100 to RSD

I tell the student every blue moon that they can snail mail, but send a copy of the bar code for their application along with it. It will have to be manually processed and it will slow down the process. So far, I have not been proven wrong.

Re: 147th Annual NRA Meeting in Dallas

Do you know for a certainty that insurance companies are doing that? Have you seen an insurance policy that says that only people with LTC can not carry at a gun show? Will the insurance company cover if someone illegally (not a LTC holder) carries and there is a ND? I honestly don't know for certa...

Hmmm it seems that neither of the passwords are working, the old, new or corrected. I will give it a little more time.

Correction. It seems that it does not accept a copy and paste, but it worked when I typed it in.

Re: RSD lost my LTC-8

If I do not receive the LTC 8 email confirmation within 48 hours then I just resend it. It has been several months since I have had to do this. Until my class two weeks ago. I resent it 3 times 2 and 3 days apart. I did get a confirmation yesterday, Monday. In fact, I received 3 of them! That tells ...
