+1 to all of the above comments. Welcome Carlson1. Glad to see someone else from Irving on here. Lots of great folks as well as info found here. I too check the site almost every morning when I get to the office. Although I don't have as much time to post as I would like, I do learn a lot from here....

I can't speak of the PM9 but I do carry a PM40. 500+ rounds and no problems. Small enough for pocket carry. Large enough for stopping power. Very little recoil. Not much more than my G21.
Kahr does recommend and I agree to a 200 round break-in

I have a Sigma 40 and have about 500 rounds though with no problems. I too can't ignore a good price on a gun. Bought mine at the Dallas show for 279.00. Don't care for the 9lb. trigger pull though. I carry the sigma in my briefcase every day. But either carry my G21 or Kahr PM40 also.

The reason I carry is to protect my family. Had 4 generations here for the holiday and all went shopping on friday( not my idea of fun but the women folk rule). Daughter made comment that someone would be crazy to try something with us. 9 people and 10 firearms. didn't know my mom and dad carried ev...

All of my kids and grand kids made it here. Son-in-law is LEO in Pearland and had to stay. Spoke with him this morning and all is well. By the way, he asked if I new the differance between Lousiana looters and Texas looters. I had to ask. He said in Texas they are not called looters, they are targets.

Had the same

problem with a Don Hume OWB. Contacted mfg. and they too said to spray with silicone spray. Tried it and it did make it a little better. Wore it all day. Went to sit down at home to take off my boots and gun hit the floor. Silicone spray worked too well along with sweat, heat and 10 hours of wear. O...
