Re: Dallas: NRA Annual Meetings/Exhibits, May 4-6, 2018.

For those that are relatively new here, back when TSRA held their meetings in Mesquite, we had a booth for several years. It was great to meet up with and put a face to the forum members. We have grown ALOT since then but would still be nice to meet some of the "newer" folks.

Re: Dallas: NRA Annual Meetings/Exhibits, May 4-6, 2018.

I may look into getting a venders booth for the forum like we did at the TSRA shows several years ago. Great place to meet and greet other members as well as enlighten non-members to our little community.

What does everyone think?

Re: Alice Cooper? You've Got to Be Kidding!!

Back in my wilder early years, I went to one of his concerts. I would have never guessed even to this day, that he was a Christian. Just shows us that it is not for us to judge others.

Re: Arizona LTC Utilized by Texas Citizen

Can you say NATIONAL RECIPROCITY! I have mixed feelings about this. On its face, I really like the idea......but then I remember that it involves the fedgov't in another aspect of gun laws, and fedgov't's record is not so good in that regard. And, even assuming that it could pass with a republican ...

Re: Are Grill Covers Really Needed?

Take Down Sicko, I hear you, but... When one is wealthy, the mind regarding cost takes different directions. Having once (for many years as a child up to the age of 15 years when I took over the captaining of my life) experienced extreme poverty - sleeping under bridges, abandoned cars, sneaking in...

Re: Are Grill Covers Really Needed?

I have a duel grille/smoker meaning it has one side that is propane and the other side is charcoal and it has a fire box on the end to smoke meat in the charcoal side. Mine is made of steel so I do keep it covered but even so, some of the grates and burners get rusty but thats part of grilling.

Re: SB 16 - priority bill, reduction of LTC fees

So do seniors pay the $40.00 or the $5.00 as listed here? SECTION 6. Section 411.195, Government Code, is amended to read as follows: Sec. 411.195. REDUCTION OF CERTAIN FEES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. Notwithstanding any other provision of this subchapter, if an applicant for the license is 60 years of ag...

Re: Armed citizens patrol SA neighborhoods

They are just a group of people walking around checking things out getting some fresh air an exercise while exercising their 2A. Nobody asked them to do it and nobody is paying them to do it. However they are going around in Marked vehicles. Don't get me wrong, I don't have an issue with it but wan...

Did we get shut out this year

It appears that we got shut out for all of the 2A bills for this session. Looks like everything got stopped at the Calendars Committee. Did we get anything at all through? If not, perhaps we need to rethink some of our elected officials. A Republican House and Senate and nothing I can see gets throu...

Re: My LTC Question

Contact the court clerk and ask for final disposition papers. Being 20 years ago, there may not be any that they can locate so if not, ask for a letter from them stating no convictions found.
