Re: Need suggestions for a gift

If you are looking for reliable, made in USA that is not semi-automatic, I highly recommend Henry Repeating Arms - especially for children. I plan on leaving him most all of my rifles and shotguns as he is the only one of my kids or grand kids that likes to hunt so I wasn't going to make his first ...

Need suggestions for a gift

I am going to get my 15 year old grandson his first deer rifle for Christmas. He has been using my old 30/30 for a couple of years now and has shot my Remington 30.06 and likes it. As a starter rifle, I am looking at 3, all in 30.06. The Remington 783 with scope for $324.00, The Remington 700 ADL wi...

Re: Unsolicited 30.06 Signs

I answer to your question, shortly after OC was enacted, I had someone come to my office trying to give us both .06 and .07 signs. They were escorted off of the property with the utmost of professionalism :biggrinjester:

Re: In Houston: can someone convert a portion of their garage as a PRIVATE indoor shooting lane?

The construction modifications alone could be cost prohibitive. We remodeled our home several years ago (2007) and in the process we had our master closet made into a safe room with reinforced concrete walls and ceiling and steel secondary door. The room is 8'x10' and these added about 22k to the re...

Re: Commitment to force as a LTC vs. LEO

I have seen a lot of people who preach to shoot to stop the threat. There is a lot to be said for this, especially in the LEO world. And it is something you might need to consider as a citizen in a self-defense situation. But here is another point to consider. What is your purpose in this situation...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 30 injured in mass shooting

Another sad "Supernova" incident. from this article: https://www.yahoo.com/news/local-media-multiple-victims-texas-church-shooting-190855639.html The armed citizen who engaged the gunman killed him. The mass shooter was fleeing in his car, got shot and lost control of his car. The the arm...

Re: Cooler locks

Your best bet would be to post a sign on your truck window telling potential thieves to not steal your chest. That should do it. Maybe the legislature can make stealing illegal next session. "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" Now I ...
