Except for medical, I won't go to a 30.06 posted business. 30.07 I will just cover up.

Re: Have you bought a meal for a first responder

I tried to buy two APD officers lunch at Mighty Fine (Actually just tried to give them the rest of my gift card) They wouldn't accept it as it was a conflict of interest and they are forbidden from accepting gratuities. Just a shame that it has come to that. This is part of the reason I have the wa...

Have you bought a meal for a first responder

I did not want to hijack another thread so I started a poll here. Whenever I go out to eat, if there is a first responder on duty and in uniform I will have the wait staff give me their ticket. Unless we are in a fast food line, they never know who payed for it. I also pay for a soldier in uniform's...

Re: Carrying Issues with Women

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. My wife found a holster at a gun show about 6 months ago that she loves. It is an IWB holster made from a material that will "grab" onto the clothing. It is a soft hoslter without a clip or anything else to hold it in place but she has b...

Re: I have to vent a little

Think about this with a little role reversal: your wife has just negotiated a good deal on a {holster, pair of shoes, new car, handbag...etc}, you called her about the great deal you found on a Redhawk, and while on the phone some other gal absconded with the {holster, pair of shoes, new car, handb...

Re: I have to vent a little

I don't blame the OP for taking the call from his wife, if it had been someone else, I'm sure he would have ignored it. But, a lot can happen when separated from your spouse, at a gun show with large numbers of people. I know my wife becomes very insistent, when she calls, and I don't answer, that'...

Re: I have to vent a little

Just food for thought and not being critical of the OP. I typically will finish with the business at hand, especially if it involves someone else's time, before I take or return phone calls. I think there are things for all involved to consider. Again, nothing against the OP, but :iagree: . In anot...

I have to vent a little

I went to the Fort Worth gun show Sunday along with my wife, daughter, and son in law. The general consensus was that the wife and daughter would go do their thing, the son in law was looking for a new deer rifle and would do his thing and I was looking for a new wheel gun and would do my thing. Now...

Over the years there have been a lot of people killed by "unloaded" weapons.

Re: Happy New Year Forum Family!

Happy New Year. Started the new year by going to church then to the Ft. Worth gun show. The gun show was a mistake. Not because it was a bad show or because I got something I regret but because I brought my wife. Now don't get me wrong, I love my wife and the fact she likes going to these with me, e...

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity

Just a question for debate--we would still have to follow the state we are in's handgun/carry laws. What about those in Comyfornia and Killanois? They have some of the most stringent carry laws around and could very easily change them to their advantage even more.
