Should have known going into the Clinton News Network the deck would be stacked. This should have never taken place.

Re: I guess this life style change is working

I gave up Dr. Pepper and really any carbonated drinks several years ago because the doc said it "could" be what was causing all of the kidney stones. Now, don't know if that was it, but haven't had a stone since and that was over 10 years ago (knock on wood here). Really didn't miss any of...

Re: Gun safe in garage

The largest GoldenRod thal will fit and a handful of Eva-dry's will take care of any humidity issues. And no, I don't think you should tape over any door seams: How does GoldenRod® work? GoldenRod® heats to a surface temperature of less than 150 degrees (which is almost too warm to hold) and circul...

Re: Gun safe in garage

A lot depends on the dehumidifier and how tight your garage is. It can be properly sized though. Being in a garage, you will have to make sure the dehumidifier gets regular maintenance including blowing out the condensate line if it has one.

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience

We have bought 4 personal vehicles and 5 company vehicles in the last 7 years from not only the same dealership, but the same salesman. On the company vehicles, each time they tried to tell me that I had to go through Fleet Sales (which by the way was a few hundred dollars higher) and not through ou...

Re: Bad parent!

I unloaded a tirade on my daughter and 16 year old grand daughter a few weeks back. My son was working out of town and my grand daughter wanted to go bowling with he friends. Her mom said that she didn't have time to take her but she could call Uber, which she did, both ways. Needless to say I was l...

What was missing? Any person that you might want your daughter to date. I don't think knit caps with something stuck under it needs to be constant attire nor to I think guys with long scraggly beards and shaved heads do us any favors. My head is not shaved but pretty close. I keep what hair I have ...

Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City

I am a dog lover but don't think we should ban pit bulls. I don't trust them and don't want to be near them though. They are doing what they were bred to do. Gentle ones are defective dogs. Some people want to have tigers in their homes. I am sure there are some very gentle tigers as well. At least...
