Re: Colion Noir Lashes Out At Claims NRA Is Racist

I do enjoy Mr. Noir’s content. Why does the headline at BA employ a phrase like “lashes out” instead of something that has a more reasonable tone, perhaps “responds to”? It’s on a gun-friendly site, not a mainstream newspaper, for goodness sake!

M1 Carbine
SMLE
FAL
“Fine” 1911 in 45 ACP. I have a Kimber Custom II, but that doesn’t scratch the itch.

Re: M1 Garand CMP

I recommend the CMP route. I don’t have experience with a field grade, but my M1 308 Special is an outstanding firearm and my buying experience was positive as well.

No need for new terms. Appeasement is appropriate. :banghead:

Re: "The Strange Death of Europe"

Abraham, it’s worse than that. Mark Steyn has a book out - I don’t recall the title for certain - that describes the falling birth rates among native Europeans, and that even if they didn’t take in more immigrants, their European cultures would basically cease to exist in the next 75 years or so. T...

Re: Customer Brass

Re: brass catcher, I don’t think there would be much to say. I just used a Caldwell pic rail model today with my CZ 805 Bren carbine. Worked to perfection. When I first got the Bren I was surprised to find that it ejected the brass forward of the firing line. Needless to say, not much brass to pick ...

Re: Customer Brass

My local ranges don’t have an issue with picking up my own brass. At the closest, an indoor range, I mention to the RO’s that I’d like to keep my brass. Assuming it’s not too busy, they will cordon off a space on the back/side wall where they sweep it. I also tell them to not be picky if something e...

Re: My Leftist Son....! ? !

Sigh. Yes, one out of two for me, and I have had to refrain from looking at their/their spouse's social media posts to prevent a cerebral aneurysm. And yes, they have firearms in my safe, just not the "evil" kind. Come to think of it, I am prevented from finishing two "evil black rifl...

Re: AGL Defense ACT trigger review

I have experience with the ACT, Geissele G2S, and CMC drop-in (flat face). The ACT is very good for the money. I have a 20" Ballistic Advantage barrel that's longing for a rendezvous with my spare upper and lower. I'll definitely put an ACT in that build. I'm not an operating operator, so take ...

http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200226224_200226224?hotline=false Now that's pretty cool! I can report that this solution works very well. A friend gave me two maple table tops, over an inch thick, that I used for the tops. The benches are very sturdy, and I customized the ben...

Re: First Internet Purchase

Glad you've had a good experience so far. I have purchased the majority of my inventory online (0 to two gun safes in 3.5 years, yeah "My name is CT and I have a problem"), and I have been generally satisfied thus far. I think the keys are good prices, free/low cost shipping, good seller c...

Qualifications aside - Can one buy from Dave with the various recommended kits installed and trigger work already done? Yes, you can order one with all the goodies. The listing indicates you have to call to order and provide a 50% deposit: https://cajungunworks.com/product/91640-pro-grade-fde-p-09-...

Re: My First CZ...

Congratulations! I picked up the black version back in January. I like mine a lot. I installed the "Pro-Grade Parts Upgrade Kit" from Cajun Gun Works and stoned the trigger bar to get it flat and smooth. Both DA and SA trigger pull are smoother now, and a good bit lighter and crisper. It m...
