Re: Time to move

That is why you use a good Realtor. And that is an oxymoron. :mad5 In my experience, that's not true unless you just walk into a real estate office and ask for any agent. You need to qualify an agent in the same manner as you would an attorney. If you do that, you will very likely have a very satis...

Re: The Bigotry of gun controllers

My brother in law has a CA ccw. Same thing, simple paper with laminate (since they are done by the county maybe each is different?). Plus, he can only carry the exact gun he applied with, max 3 on the permit if I remember correctly. Not just the same model, but the same serial number... The problem...

Re: TX: Fed Judge Dismisses UT Profs Campus Carry Lawsuito

How 'chilling' would a concealed firearm be or is OC going to be allowed? (obviously I'm not well versed in this subject...) Now they don't know if there could be a person who legally has a handgun there so they must now be careful about what they say in case said handgun decides to go off. Because...

Re: This Texting While Driving is really starting to get to me!

Yes, new technology could stop it, but when will that be available? It's all software so it could be as early as tomorrow. Companies could "push" the fireware upgrade. If you would put your effort into getting the feds to require this very simple software change, rather than calling for i...

Re: This Texting While Driving is really starting to get to me!

Papa_Tiger, Please quote me where I said More Laws would be effective to stop texting and driving? If I did I was wrong. I want to stop texting and driving, but I don't think I stated new laws about it will suffice. I think I stated creativity about stopping it. Not new laws. So, show me where I sp...

Re: This Texting While Driving is really starting to get to me!

Let me re-word that for you and see how you like it: From what I can tell, gun violence is on a tremendous upward increase. Once it reaches it's zenith in death and destruction, maybe, maybe it'll be reined in. The passive acceptance of this insanity reminds of the acceptance of terrorist deaths in ...

4.2 percent of American kids have witnessed a shooting in the past year

https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2017/06/27/news-organizations-including-one-unintentionally-misinformed-public-guns Some decent investigative reporting into the CDC and UT claim that 4.2 percent of American kids have witnessed a shooting in the past year. It appears that words might ac...

Re: New gun law summary

I know that Charles posted a link to the new gun laws that were passed this year, but I can't find it. Anyone point me to it? Thanks in advance. Keep in mind, the legislative session isn't over until June 19 at 12:01 AM. There are still several bills that will have an impact on Texas LTC holders th...

Re: Can you legally carry a .500?

Nothing in CHL-16 other than .32 minimum for qualification . Which goes away on September 1. Are you sure about that? I have been trying to find out whether that bill was signed or not. Posted a question about it but haven't received a response. 100% sure: http://www.legis.state.tx.us/BillLookup/Hi...
