Re: Interesting going out in public as a LTC

What you will eventually become comfortable with - is that nobody notices.

Congrats on getting your LTC.

Re: The life of a single action

I'm a black powder guy. I just love that bang and cloud of smoke. I have four cap and ball revolvers, two of which I converted to cartridges. I load my own 45 Colt cartridges and shot shells with BP, and use that for SASS shooting.

There will be a move to implement the "Australian Solution".

Re: OWB for colder weather

I always carry OWB, could never get comfortable with IWB. But I am a CCer, I am retired and don't tuck my shirt in for anybody. And I don't have to worry about printing or inadvertent exposure either.

Re: Take a Knee Updated

I am a Viet Nam combat vet, and when the hippies were burning the flag, I supported that 1A right, and I continue to support those same 1A rights today. Vote, vote with your wallet, vote with your participation. But you can't restrict others 1A rights without endangering your own.

Missouri does not have a 30.06 type regulatory sign, and "no guns" signs on private property do not have force of law. However, if you are discovered carrying and asked to leave, and do not, you can be guilty of trespassing. You should check out handgunlaw.us for statutorily prohibited pla...

I have a full size in .45ACP in a paddle holster. It is a big gun, but very reliable. It also comes with interchangeable back straps.

You can kill feral hogs no license if they are a nuisance. If you hunt them to eat them, you need a license, but no season, no limit.

Re: A good western rig

I also highly recommend El Paso, I have their Doc Holliday shoulder holster. But also check out sites that cater to cowboy SASS costumes, like Wild West Mercantile, and Western Emporium.

You are headed down a slippery slope, my friend.

Wasn't that the homemade round in the Beverly Hills Cop II movie, that was evidence that led Axel to the gun range?

Re: Ruger LCP Loaded Carry

I've been carrying an LCP 6+1 for several years, both IWB and now OWB. Never any incident, I never take it out of the holster except at the range (except to clean), so never a finger on the trigger accidentally. Now, their is a history of discharge when dropped for early LCPs, certain early serial n...

Re: Ruger AR556 $449 free shipping

Sure looks like a good deal. I'm curious how to get a cash discount by shopping online? I'm sure not going to mail somebody a check sight unseen. In fact, I don't even write checks anymore.

Re: Campus Carry vs. Emergency Vols Law (HB 435)

Since concealed carry is legal on a public community college campus, I presume you mean that the specific facility on campus is posted 30.06 IAW published campus policy? Just asking for clarification.
