Re: Safariland QLS

I bought a pair of used ALS Holsters for my Glock 21 a couple or so years ago whenever open carry became legal in Texas. Loved the locking system but I was not familiar enough with the modularity of the holsters and availability of the QLS system so I sold them. The light mount holster was also a dr...

Re: DFW Auto Show at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

I've been the past two years and have never seen a metal detector at the entrance. I've also been to another show (18 wheeler trucks) the past couple of years and no metal detectors there either.

Re: Non member Indoor range in Dallas?

Bullseye Range in Duncanville and Shoot Smart in Grand Prairie are the two indoor ranges I frequent because they are close to me. Both require that you pay for a card but it's not a membership per say (Bullseye is $5 and Shoot Smart is $2). I do like hitting up Target Masters even though it's furthe...

Re: Spooked in a WM parking lot

Another thought regarding getting spooked by proximity...park far away from the madding crowd. I see people circle in parking lots until a space opens up as close to the store as is humanly possible. Then, they are tightly confined with vehicles left/right/fore and aft, but, but, but they're closer...

Re: Green/Red chamber

Just wanted to add my two cents. Back when I first started carrying in the mid 90's it was a Glock. And I to didn't carry (at first) with a round chambered. Just didn't feel comfortable with it and a lot of that had to do with lack of experience, a cheap nylon holster (you know the ones with a metal...

Re: Blindsided

:iagree: I'm tired of people using the space in front of the pump as a parking space. I also get tired of gassers using the only diesel/ gas pump when 10 gas only pumps are available . If it is the only pump open, I understand. I'm guilty of using the space in front of a pump. Because I'm in a big ...

Re: OC Has Gun Taken Away

I rarely OC and I carry a speed safe knife to encourage anyone who try to grab it! Encourage or discourage? I don't OC publicly but I do OWB carry with a cover garment quite frequently. And I recently picked up another Safariland ALS holster after giving it a try last year and not liking it, ...

Re: Recommend a gun range near Cedar Hill

I just realized I never responded to this but thank you everybody for all the suggestions. Not sure where they decided to go or if they even did. If they had gone on a weekend I would have taken them myself and let them shoot my guns.

Dual Magazine Pouch for Glock 45/10mm?

Probably a long shot but does anyone have one I can borrow for a class this weekend in the DFW area? I've been getting by for carry with a single mag pouch but I'm taking a class this weekend that requires a dual mag pouch. Ordered one back on the 17'th and didn't expect it to take so long to ship (...

WTS Surefire EB1

Thinning out the flashlight herd to make room for a future light purchase. Selling a Surefire EB1C-B-BK. This is the black "clicky" version, 200 Lumen High/5 Lumen Low, single cell flashlight. Great pocket light and the one I prefer to carry when I go out for the night armed because of it'...

Re: Sub-2000, 9mm, Gen 2, Glock, on Grabagun, $399

For those of you that have these, how reliable have they been? And looking at the Grabagun ad, it says not to use aluminum cased ammo with it. What's the deal with that?

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 26 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

http://thefederalist.com/2017/11/15/biden-hero-stopped-texas-church-shooter-wrong-gun/ During a question and answer session on NBC’s “Today” show, former vice president and rumored presidential 2020 contender Joe Biden said the hero who stopped the Texas church shooter earlier this month should not...
