Re: Kimber Quality?

I have a master carry ultra and haven't had a single issue. It's a great gun IMO.

Re: How to Permanently Destroy a Firearm

I don't think the question is as easy as finding a way to do as much as finding someone willing to do it. I mean if someone came to you and asked for you to destroy a gun wouldn't you be suspicious. I for one wouldn't want ANY part in it just in case.

Re: 30.06 Methodist Hospital Sugar Land

My grandmother was in a Methodist hospital a couple months back and the 30.06 was posted in black lettering with a clear background on a glass sliding door. The verbiage was correct but you could barely read it. I saw it so that was enough to disarm (I disarmed anyway because I just assume all hospi...

Re: Smith and wesson model 642 problem

Just a guess ... try removing that stupid trigger lock. http://youtu.be/XcyL4I3zHko" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; You know that's something that crossed my mind. I was thinking about it and that lock is a really bad idea.. If it gets locked and you don't have the key, the...

Re: Smith and wesson model 642 problem

Ok I think I got it. Still not very enthused with having to work on a brand new pistol but it seems to be in working order. We will see how it acts after a few hundred rounds through it. Hopefully I can get back to trusting it enough to carry.

Re: Smith and wesson model 642 problem

UPDATE: I called Smith and wesson just to be on the safe side and they told me the same thing y'all did. I got the cylinder open by giving the thumb release a good tap with the back end of my pliers (rubber end) I can now open and close the cylinder but the thumb release is still very finicky. A cou...

Smith and wesson model 642 problem

Man am I having bad luck with new guns... Picked up a model 642 snub nose revolver a couple weeks back and got out to the range today to shoot it. Got through 15 rounds and ran into some issues. After loading up the next 5 rounds I fired the first 1-2 rounds and the trigger hung up fully engaged. Th...

Garrett Industries makes great holders. I've got both the silent thunder fusion and just got my silent thunder solo last week. Love them both.

Someone needs to jump on this one. That's cheaper than the gun show price plus no tax or entry fee/parking to the show.

Someone is getting a great deal. I was really hoping this would sit a little while longer until I hopefully could come up with the money. This is the AR that I have been wanting.

Re: Colors on handguns?

I was having a hard time getting my wife to get a gun and learn to shoot it. Not that she was against it, she was just intimidated. Bought her a sig p238 and put some "pretty" pink grips on it and she was ready to go to the range. Reason enough for me!
