Re: App. process time if I recently held LTC in Washington st?

The FBI requires a new set every time. A license from another state is irrelevant to the Texas process.

Re: Rescued a forlorn old girl today

I have two Tokarevs, and they are stout. I read a ballistics report on that round; it said the Tokarev will go through both sides of a Kevlar helmet, and through the two lowest grades of body armor. The Soviets knew how to build killing machines.

Re: Help me decide !

Another option. G19 police trade-in. These are usually in very good condition, have been shot enough to be broken in, but traded in because that dept had a budget for upgrades to G5. I have a G19, 17, and 23, all police trade-ins, and have not been disappointed at all. Well, the G23 had night sights...

Re: I’ve spent $300 for less...

That's a great price, and those are very good guns. I had a Star B for several years. I can't validate this, but I have read that the firing pins on these (at least the model B) are cast, not forged, so they can break under dry-firing. I did not routinely dry-fire mine, and still broke the FP. There...

Re: Type 03 C&R

I doubt that ATF inspects C&R holders unless there is reason to suspect usual buying or selling activity, or association with gangs or known criminals. I have had a C&R for 4 years, and never hear from ATF except for an email newsletter.

Re: Kore Essentials Gun Belt long term Review

:iagree:

The Kore Essentials belt is very good. I only use it as a dress belt, so have not put a lot of stress on it, but it carries a S&W Shield .45 just fine. With blue jeans or tacticals, I use a 511 Tactical belt.

Re: Remington UMC 9mm issue

https://freedommunitions.com

More accurate than most ammo, reliable, very consistent, and cheaper than most, even without making bulk orders. This is mail order only, so you have to buy about 300 rounds for the shipping to be cost-effective. I usually buy 500-600 rounds at a time.

Re: Looking For Glock 41 OWB Holster

I recently got a Safariland retention paddle holster for a Glock 23 from Amazon. It is very secure on the body, feels good, and it is easy to release the gun. I'm sure they have that model for the 41. Safariland is frequently used by police.

Re: Shotgun, 20 ga, like new [DALLAS AREA]

The barrel is 18 inches, and is equipped with the Mossberg Accu-Choke system, so chokes can be installed. I did not keep the original youth stock; never thought I would need it.

Backpack strap holsters

You can stretch the facts a little and call it a shoul...
