Re: WTB Lady Smith 9mm

Since these are after all somewhat difficult to find... If you do not get an offer here, is the need for the Lady Smith version of the 3913 because it has "lady Smith" on the side, or will the regular 3913 do? I ask because on gunbroker there are currently several 3913's, including one tha...

Re: Your input/experience on the Walther PPK and/or PPK/S

I have a stainless PPK/s with the shorter tang. I have it because I like classic designs, and love Walther products and have a small collection of them. My PPK/s is a pistol that I will never get rid of. That being said, let me state why I would not recommend a PPK/s for concealed carry. The PPK/s i...

Re: LOWERED PRICE -- CMMG AR-15 bull barrel with scope .223

Low-profile gas block? Usually the case with a bull barrel, but I don't want to assume. What type of scope? What type of mounts? How many and what type mags? What type of trigger? Normal grip or aftermarket?

FS: CZ 453 American .22lr *SPF!*

The rifle is now sold, pending receipt of funds of course.... Hello all, I have for sale a pristine CZ 453 American in .22lr. It has a single-set trigger that is currently set at 1.5lbs. It comes with one magazine and instruction book, and will come in it's original packaging. This model does not co...

A Glock 26 would meet your requirements. They aren't hard to find, not greatly expensive, are totally reliable, and there are many aftermarket parts/supplies.

FS: Colt Detective Special *SOLD!*

Hello all, Up for sale is my satin-nickle six-shot Colt Detective Special. Thinking about an S&W J-frame? Why bother with a wimpy five shot revolver, when you can have Colt quality and 20% more rounds instead! This example is in excellent condition, and functions perfectly. There are a few very ...

Re: Any Ideas? Problem with Taurus 85...

I certainly don't know everything about revolver timing, but here is something that you might try. Cock the hammer, but leave your thumb on it. Pull tension back on the hammer, and then pull the trigger. Without releasing the trigger, ease the hammer forward. Then, while keeping the trigger in it's ...

Re: Any Ideas? Problem with Taurus 85...

Not trying to be picky, but only posting in order to possibly prevent a mishap. A Glock 26 is not a .40, but is instead a 9mm. So either you really got a 27, or you were misinformed as to what caliber your pistol really is. I would hate to see someone put the wrong cartridge into a firearm... Blazer...

Re: New Ruger .380 (think P-3AT)

If it proves reliable, this is going to really sell. I would certainly agree. It it proves as reliable as my P3AT, I will most likely buy one once they become easily available (might take a year or two). Don't really need one, but having a BUG for the BUG is a good enough reason for me..... PhilR.

Re: KEL-TEC P-3AT Question

If I remember correctly (hey, it can happen!), there is a small wire spring inside the frame that fits into the groove of the pin when the pin is in place, thereby holding it there. The spring is visible in the pin hole when the pin is removed. Is there a spring in your frame?

Re: KAHR CW9 vs Walther P99

1. Walther. But that's not saying that the CW9 is inaccurate. 2. Walther. Kahr's can be hit or miss, but from what I've read, it seems that the CW9 does ok. 3. Walther. 4. $399-$429 for the CW, apprx. $575 for an AS Walther. For your last question (two questions) neither pistol can be altered to be ...

Re: Need suggestions for deep cover j-frame

I once worked with a guy that wore a J in an ankle rig. Every now and then, when he was sitting down and crossed his legs, his pants would ride up enough to expose the bottom of the holster. If you get an ankle rig, be aware of your pants inseam length. If I were in your shoes, I would use a body ho...

Re: .22 Revolver Questions

I plan on buying used if I can find one that has not been abused. Taurus makes .22 DA revolvers in 2" but I really wanted a longer bbl. I have not ruled out a SA. Check out the S&W 34 or the Kit guns. Colt made the Diamondback and I think the Trooper in .22lr, but a good one will likely be...

WTB: .22lr DA revolver

Hello all, The wifey wants a .22lr revolver, double action, six inch barrel at the most, but around four is preferred. Adjustable sights a must. FTF also preferred, unless you can send a lot of high-resolution pics. We are in College Station, and are willing to travel a bit for something intersting....
