ABC Pro Rodeo Lubbock

The family and I are going to the rodeo tomorrow and we’re trying to figure out what we can and can’t bring. After looking on the website, I can’t seem to find a page of prohibited items. I already know we won’t be carrying but I want to make sure we don’t bring something we aren’t supposed to have....

Re: Whataburger "AR"

I don't understand the apparent fixation on Whataburger. They are not even our second fast food choice. :biggrinjester: What's your first fast food choice? Dairy Queen? :cheers2: We like Legends and given a choice between Whataburger and Taco Bell, we'll go to Braums. but...but...Braums is an Oklah...

There’s no doubt that he’s missing quite a few screws, but it looks to me that maybe he noticed the camera and decided to “put on a show”, as he starts out looking at the camera.

Re: DACA - Carrying Pistol in Vehicle

Federal law prohibits DACA from owning, purchasing, selling firearms and ammo. Can it be more clear than that? Can you post it or give me a link plz. Federal Laws also say a felon can't own a gun, but in Texas they can after 5 years. https://www.atf.gov/firearms/identify-prohibited-persons Identify...

Re: DACA - Carrying Pistol in Vehicle

Since DACA people are quasi legal residence, I guess by Executive Order only, Are they allowed legally to carry a pistol in a vehicle in Texas as long as it is concealed To be clear, DACA recipients do not have a legal status. DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) creates an exemption for d...

 WOW!! That could’ve turned very ugly in an instant. Glad the RSO was paying attention and reacted as quick as he did.

Re: Carry rules for non CHL citizens

Wow! I see now that I've been in violation a few times. This doesn't happen very often at all but it has happened which is why I wanted to clear some of those situations up. Guess I won't be doing that anymore. With that said....would I still be in violation to defend my life if the weapon was retr...

Re: Anti-Gun Corporate Trends

It would be a stretch to suggest that banning anything related to guns makes a bank's transactions safer. I suspect that some of this is a policy holder over from the days of Eric Holder and Operation Choke point. It is not without its consequence, however. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/state-wont-d...

Re: In need of prayers

Thanks everyone. Your prayers are very much appreciated and I will pass them along to my family. We are having her funeral Saturday morning and I’ve been asked to be one of the pall bearers. My wife and I have been talking about her today and we know that all of her memories have come back and she g...

In need of prayers

My family and I need prayers. My grandmother passed away last night. My grandmother had dimentia for the past 6-7 years and the doctors kept telling us she was as healthy as horse but yesterday she took a turn for the worst. I only have my grandfather left and I’m really worried about him. She was h...
