Re: Man accidentally shoots himself, wife at church

Now "People" (a loosely used term) will demand common sense church control laws over the number of shootings that happen at churches. These "people" will say something stupid like ban churches and no one will get shot in a church.

It appears he had a specific person in mind. Why did the court grant him bail?

Re: Southwest pilot arrested after gun found in carry-on luggage

This story has several issues. First, Missouri is a "constitutional carry" state, meaning that no LTC equivalent is required. So I'm not sure why the story bothers to mention that the pilot didn't have a permit. Second, why would he be charged with "unlawful use" of a firearm? M...

Re: Things and Sayings That Annoy!

A saying that really annoys me is the misuse of the word "Nazi" in reference to our current POTUS. Trump's daughter and her family are orthodox Jews. Therefore, Nazi references to Trump are incompatible with his family situation. The people that misuse the word Nazi have no idea what they ...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 30 injured in mass shooting

This is just a heartbreaking story. Last time there was a mass causality shooting it was because of racism and bigotry. Today, who knows. In today's shooting, the Church's Pastor said his 14-year old was one of the victims. The press conference said the victims were as young as 5 years-old. What has...

Maybe, the city posts no gun signs all over the city, there will no more gun deaths. It just Liberal common sense!

Didn't this type of attack occur in NYC just this past May? It is dangerous to be a pedestrian or biker in NYC. So, why does NY and California want to be sanctuaries?

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

I'm open to considering restoring gun rights depending on the actual crime. I can see both sides of the argument, but have not reached a conclusion. Should a person convicted of tax fraud (not paying his/her taxes) be classified the same as a person convicted of a violent crime (rape, murder, assaul...
