Re: Crypto-currencies

This thread this summer got me to thinking. Why not invest a little in cybercurrency? I did. Not a significant portion of my portfolio, Just a few hundred dollars. It's been fun watching this grow so fast. It's more exciting than a casino and a lot more profitable. This isn't the first time that th...

Good job on this.

I'm curious how much they have tried to raise your property taxes since you've taken up this fight though. :biggrinjester:

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

You apparently have zero clue what you are talking about. You should probably try to educate yourself a little bit before you run off at the mouth again. The COC is, first and foremost, a motorcyclist rights advocacy group. COC dues go to help fund safety awareness campaigns like the Share the Road...

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

In my other life I have the wonderful experience of dealing with the Bandido's twice. It was not very pleasant. I have had a lot of contact in the 80's with the Cossacks in Smith and Wood County. I have never had a good experience with them whatsoever. I am sure there are some good folks who are me...

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

I learned also that Bandidos got irritated by Cossacks wanting to ally with Hells.A. an fight on Texas turf This is probably a lot closer to the truth than the $10k per month per Chapter nonsense. This and the Texas rocker. The Bandidos take the Texas rocker very seriously, as does any other Club t...

Re: NYC: Driver of truck mows down pedestrians - 6 dead

A U.S. counterterrorism official told NBC News that the intelligence community is unaware of any claims of responsibility in the attack at this time. And vowed to discredit any attempts by ISIS or other Islamic terror groups to claim responsibility. :banghead: Thanks Obama for welcoming thousands o...

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

Ok, this is going to be an odd comment by me but, I dont agree with having to revisit a cort to reestablish civil rights. This takes lawyers and a lot of money on BOTH SIDES. Not everyone can afford that and especially America! It has to be one way or the other unfortunately :???: Frankly, I don't ...

Re: Poll - How many rounds?

Carried on my person: 13+1 of 45 ACP in primary + 13+1 of 45 ACP in secondary + 10+1 of 45 ACP in tertiary + (4) magazines at 13 each of 45 ACP + (2) magazines at 10 each of 45 ACP. That is 111 rounds all day every day ... except when I go to Walmart. Then I just start dumping loose ammo into my po...

70% of the time - Glock 26 - 10+1 and a 17 round mag in a pocket or mag holster = 28
20% of the time - Glock 19 - 15+1 and a 17 round mag in a pocket or mag holster = 33
10% of the time - Glock 17 - 17+1 and a 17 round mag in a pocket or mag holster = 35

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

In the perfect world that I would imagine, a key difference between a felony and a misdemeanor should be (in addition to the length of time served) the supposition of a black mark on your record forever. A felony, by definition, is more serious than a misdemeanor. Losing your right to vote, right t...

Re: Alliance Air Show

I was out there and carried away. I think the main point of the bag check was to ensure there were not drinks being brought in. Strict no cooler rule and making people pour out water before entry. There was alcohol for sale and that would have been illegal to allow people to bring their own.

Re: Straw Man Query

I've actually heard the exact opposite when buying guns with my wife due to community property laws. Even with community property laws, the firearm is being transferred to one person by the licensed dealer. When selling to a business entity, one person acting on behalf of that business completes th...

Re: Straw Man Query

I was taught the same when I worked on the other side of the gun counter. All of those on here who say they paid but their daughter / son / whoever filled out the paperwork would not have been sold a gun by me, even if I believed them or knew them... one person paying with a different person fillin...

Re: Alliance Air Show

I worked the Ellinton air show this last weekend. Here is a hint, if its in an airport, same TSA rules apply. Look at a map and see if its on an airport! That is not correct at all. I'm in airports fairly regularly and carried on planes. Private planes in non-secured areas of an airport are not pro...
