Re: Green/Red chamber

I suggest that the best way to carry is the manner in which you feel comfortable and in which you will practice. The most important point is that you do carry. For myself, I am a bad guesser. That is one of the main reasons that I do carry. I can't guess when the violent threat will present, so I ca...

There has been too much name calling in this thread already. The original post is a straw man argument and not worthy of response.

Re: The Egg and I sign change

For the record, I don't own a business, but I do own a house. And while concealed firearms are OK, I would strongly prefer that you carry openly. That way I won't offer you the use of one of my guns unnecessarily while you are visiting. It also eliminates that whole "bad guys shoot the guy wit...

Re: Vehicle Carry

Many us (me for one) also use lock boxes especially designed to hold a pistol inside our vehicle (they come in different sizes) cabled to something like seat frames. Could a thief defeat it? Sure, but they'd have to have the right tools, time and circumstance. Just like a gun safe in one's home. Ab...

I thought Sergeant Major of the Army was the ONLY E10 in the Army. :???: Nope, still an E9. ( linky ) But other uses could be: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E10 :iagree: And, current DFAS pay charts only go to E9 for enlisted. https://www.dfas.mil/militarymembers/payentitlements/military-pay-charts...

You must have bought the only CZ75 in the U.S. Inventories all over are depleted. If you are good with your hands and are patient, you may want to consider https://cajungunworks.com/product/75664-pro-package-for-decockers/ I have this kit in two CZs and I'll put it in every one I buy. Get slave pin...

Re: MPA Fact Check

As described, it would appear that the juvenile's conduct does not meet any of the exceptions under 922(x). 18 USC 922(x) Yeah, but we don't really care about federal regulations here in Texas, do we? Well...... YEAH we do, if that's what keeps us out of prison! Sheesh! We especially care ab...

Re: New to this forum!

What were you in the Army? I just find it odd that you would feel uncomfortable or insecure about carrying a handgun. Unless you have a vault in your vehicle, I would not leave a weapon in it. Most soldiers in non-combat areas will not carry a loaded individual weapon. While on active duty, I only ...

Re: At What Price Point For A Used Gun Do You Say No Thanks?

For an ordinary item, 50% to 66% of MSRP might make it interesting. I just ordered a new S&W M&P M2 9mm in Flat Dark Earth for $474 total from an online dealer. That is $125 less than MSRP. So if I can get a new pistol for 75% of MSRP, I have no need to pay that much for a used pistol. As wi...

Re: I did it again, second time this week...

For the second time this week, I left the house without my EDC. A couple of times a week my wife gets up early with me and we have mini "coffee date" before I leave for work. Almost every time we do this I leave something behind, rings, watch, phone, etc... I just get distracted in my mor...
