He’s charged with capital murder and is released on bond again.

Unbelievable.
The legislature was fairly prompt at convening an investigation to impeach one of the University of Texas board of regents members who had the temerity to dig into the fast-track admissions policy that UT granted certain legislators, including then-Speaker Straus. I wonder if they will find the energy to look into this judge.
