So the guy beats his wife, wife gets a protective order against her husband. He is released on bond.

He murders his wife and murders the poor guy installing cabinets in her house.

He’s charged with capital murder and is released on bond again.

How it works in Houston now.

Haven’t found the bond release story as it’s recently happened.

May have to scroll down on some of those links, look for entries for 23 and 24 May.

Unbelievable.

The legislature was fairly prompt at convening an investigation to impeach one of the University of Texas board of regents members who had the temerity to dig into the fast-track admissions policy that UT granted certain legislators, including then-Speaker Straus. I wonder if they will find the energy to look into this judge.

ETA:

Looking at a picture of the order releasing Bullock on bond, this was done in January.

5 men wearing masks and carrying automatic and semi-automatic weapons bust down the door of a home after midnight and announce they are police and to put hands up. Stole $4000 in jewelry and cash.

Really nice of the criminals to protect everyone from the Coronavirus.
If the goobers haven't been caught yet, how do the police (per the article) know the robbers were armed with "automatic" weapons? Did somebody rip off a burst? Doesn't say there was any in the article.

Watch as two men break into a house with a ring doorbell. They notice the doorbell and duck underneath it not to be seen. This was at 7 in the morning. Fortunately the woman who lives alone had already left for work and got to watch it on her phone.

Everyone needs a gun for protection.
The Ring doorbell has two-way communication. I would have yelled at them just to see if it would scare them away.

Mother and boyfriend arrested for helping son evade arrest. Drove him to a motel to hide out. Motels have security cameras. Looking for a third person shown driving a Cadillac.

Charges upgraded on son to Capital Murder, no bond now. But we got to see the original Judge as he really feels.
And MOM, who bonded out, was already out on bond because she attacked an elderly person in October, plus has a long criminal history. The nut didn't fall far from the tree.

Woman coughed in convenience store, and another woman goes crazy on her, with boy friends help. Ends up robbing her as well.

Watch the video.

You may also want to read the story on the woman in Taco Bell in Oregon, who slit the throat of the man and only got 7 years.

Note to self: don’t hang out in convenience stores.
So the woman who gets yanked off her stool and pummeled is your wife. No weapons visible to me. Your response? I would bet that any response would bring that guy in in the female assailant's side. Now what?

It's a big city with a government run by Democrats.
