Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation

Seems to me that if a person” qualifies” to have his firearms taken away because he is mentally unstable and/or danger to others, then it Should be the person that is confiscated, not the firearms.

Re: Shooting Situation at Rolling Oaks Mall San Antonio

In all accounts I saw quoting The wife who was there, instead of chief McManus who was not, It is clear that one of the robbers Started shooting first, killing her unarmed husband for simply stepping between his wife and the armed robber. THEN The LTC holder put down the robber who initiated The sho...

Re: Active Shooter reported at Santa Fe High School

This is Texas, darnit. Why couldn't this have been "High school student able to get shotgun into school under a trench coat. When he presented the gun and prepared to fire, he was neutralized by a teacher who was trained and licensed. No one at the school injured but the attempted shooter." Because...

Re: Texas Carry Executive Director sued for filing signage complaint against Waller County

Waller County's appeal to the SCOTEX (is that an existing acronym or did I just invent it?) is at this link: http://www.search.txcourts.gov/SearchMedia.aspx?MediaVersionID=cd56e76d-d50c-4626-a698-259fc768e996&coa=cossup&DT=BRIEFS&MediaID=4476ebeb-6391-44ea-9c88-b1aa7504915d They are asking the SCOTE...

Re: Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?

What a bunch of nonsense - so we have 30-06, 30-07, 51% and something that looks like a 51% sign but isn't :mad5 We also have another one to worry about - I hadn't seen one of these signs before: https://www.texas3006.com/view.php?id=17793 Keep in mind, that only applies to 10 hospitals in the stat...

Which carries no penalty for you as a LTC holder. This is actually a case where the confusion and obscurity of the law works in our favor, mostly. At least if you have to go to court.

But yeah. :mad5

Re: Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?

...Then I must have misunderstood E.Marquez’s OP question, because I thought that the issue was Mr Holcomb insisting that hospitals MUST post 30.06/07 signs. Yes, I think so, and I believe E.Marquez was initially confused too. However, the quote from Holcomb was referencing the "non-51%" sign requi...

Re: Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?

I have no clue who this Holcomb guy is,... Terry Holcomb is the founder of the Texas Carry organization, and was the guy sued by Waller County when he filed a complaint about their court house signs with the Texas AG. That's covered in this thread: http://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=85417...

Re: Seattle WA: 9-0 vote to tax largest employers to help homeless

I don't know what Seattle's zoning and construction laws are like, but since they are a lefty enclave I will bet it's similar to California and NY cities, and therefore the reason there is no "affordable" housing is because their rules make it too expensive. Therefore the price for existing housing ...
