An update:

Shawn Puente, one of the two robbers/killers charged with capital murder in the death of SAPD Officer Robert Deckard was convicted last week, and is now in the penalty phase where the jury will choose between life imprisonment or death.

As of yet I can find no information on the other person charge, Jenevieve Ramos, except as a reference in articles about Puente.

ETA x2: I look at the pictures of Puente and I can't help thinking that his attorneys dressed him up and styled his hair to look as much like Forrest Gump as possible. One of the things they are arguing in his punishment phase is his mental capacity. He apparently scores low on verbal tests but high on non-verbal.
