Don't hold your breath on that. Especially if the FBI and DOJ are the ones involved.

Re: NRA National Meeting May 3-6 -- Anybody Worried?

I will go by my mailbox today and see if its in there. Kind of disappointed to here they are generic but I can understand why. With the way the climate of the left is and today's technology, do you want your name on display? It would be easy to take a picture and capture names for the face that is w...

Re: WILSON COMBAT INTRODUCES THE “HARDEST HITTING AR CARBINE EVER PRODUCED”

Depends on what one calls an practical. http://www.petersenshunting.com/gear-accessories/nemo-omen-458/ when shot-putting 500-grain slugs downrange at 2090fps That's 200 more grains at same speed. Not cheap by any means and full custom but it doesn't get much bigger than 458 win mag.

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Not that it matters to the people that will vote for him cause they will no matter what but ole "Beto" is an Irish American using a nickname to sound Hispanic for votes. He didn't win the border districts in the primary so maybe his target voters are already on to him. I looked at the numb...

Re: Motorcyclist Crashes and shoots self

Just like most people here say there are very few if any "Guns that accidentally went off", I would say "Almost" all motorcycle accidents are the motorcyclists fault. I ride as much as I can and the things I see other motorcyclists do is beyond me. Even cars turning left in fron...

Re: Is the .40 dead?

Once upon a time the .40 was the ultimate. Now I see the new and used markets flooded with them cheap. What happened? Assault weapon ban which limited pistols to 10 rounds expired. That was a factor for some popularity. Proliferation of pocket 9mm pistols in the market. Advances in bullet technolog...

Re: California could split into 3 states

Lets see... LA would be the capital of one state, San Fran the other, and probably keep Sacramento as the third... I see no way that this would benefit anybody other than the socialist. I too would rather see them leave.

I can't ever watch any hearings. They are too painful with all the stupidity on full display by our elected "leaders." Rush is right, politicians are the lowest common denominator.

Re: Well there goes Vermont... joining the antis in the northeast

The most controversial of the three measures, S.55, barely passed the legislature. It will restrict magazine capacity to 15 rounds on handguns and 10 rounds on rifles, ban bump stocks and raise the age to buy guns in Vermont to 21. Magazines already in circulation will be grandfathered while adults...

Re: Land survey to GPS coordinates

I'm glad your surveyor came through for you - it should have been pinned in the first place. I have 5 acres in a thickly-forested area and I had surveyor's pins in place but still, I could not see diddly in all that mess. It cost about a grand to hire someone to cut and blaze the entire perimeter l...

Re: Land survey to GPS coordinates

An overdue update:

Old Curly Wolf is the man. :tiphat: He made a phone call and had the original surveyor get a hold of me who then came out and pinned the property. Many thanks goes out to Old Curly Wolf.
