Think double edged are still disallowed as well.

Re: Please Recommend Eye Protection

I have two pairs of Wiley X with the interchangeable lenses. They are extremely difficult to change out the first several times. I mainly use the shaded and clear lenses. I've never had to put them to the test, but they are comfortable and fit under earmuffs well.

Re: On Going Outside to Investigate Noises

If I hear noises outside, my plan is to open the bedside safe, hand my wife the revolver, and tell her to go into the closet and call 911. I will then grab the SA, head carefully up the stairs, get the kids all in one room, and then lay down and cover the top of the stairs. Not ideal, but the best ...

Re: On Going Outside to Investigate Noises

I wouldn't go outside unless I had too. I'd rather be on hold for 20 minutes, and wait another 20 for the police to show up than have this happen. I don't have anything outside my home worth getting shot over. Maybe if I still lived on the ranch and they were in the barn stealing horses or equipment...

I do love that movie, and used to have a crush on Madeleine Stowe.

Re: AR mags

I have some mags that get used for training only. Those stay unloaded, so I can load whatever the instructor wants as far as round count and dummy rounds. Other than those, all my mags are loaded. Pistol or AR doesn't matter.

Re: 2017 NRA Board of Directors Election

If we don't get a ballot in the mail by the end of the week, just call the 877 number I'm guessing? Called and was told since I get a digital copy of the magazine, that my ballot will be arriving later. I'll post when it shows up. Ballot arrived sometime between 2/18, and 2/20. Was in the box today.

Multiple Intruders

Why I like to sleep with my AR next to my bed. First couple of shots would probably send them running, but still like having the extra rounds.

Re: 45-70 vs 30-30 in Marlin lever rifle

If (once again if) I remember correctly it isn't actually black powder season as it is muzzle loader season. It has to be an actual muzzle loader.

Re: Interesting Legal Issue

By no means a lawyer. You can get into a Costco without a membership. One of their gift cards, and (so I've been told) if you are buying alcohol. Never tested it, as I don't want to give them my business. Seems odd that I wouldn't be trespassing, but a member would be. Guess it really depends on the...

I'm none of the above, but seems that the yield sign would take precedence.

Re: Research Help Needed!

You're talking about 7 counties over a 5 year period. I'm not saying it can't have happened, but that is a lot to try to sift through with not much to go on. Several search iterations across google and bing turned up nothing. As well as a search of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals records for tho...

Just have to pay attention to details. When it can be picked up, scheduling an appointment, what loading is available, etc.
