Re: .300 BLK - supers and subs through a Form 1 can

Thanks for the video. Just recently sent off my form to the atf to build a 300 blackout sbr. Can will be following at some point. Nice to see and hear what I'll be ending up with.

Re: NRA Carry Guard - Level 1 Training

I've only shot 200 rounds of Winchester white box. In those 200 rounds I had 3 duds, and 2 with the bullets seated too deep in the case. For me that was a bit too high of a failure rate to bother buying more.

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

Perhaps someone knows this answer: Does the prosecution have to turn over ALL evidence to the defense? How much can the prosecution decide to withhold? What are the typical consequences if evidence is withheld? That is a huge can of worms. If you have plenty of time on your hands you can google all...

Re: The Strange City Limits of Bulverde, Texas

I saw something about a new state law where people could basically opt out of joining a city. Maybe the city is doing this before that law goes in effect?

Two things I've heard about statistics. There are lies, *blank* lies, and statistics. Bikinis and statistics are the same, it isn't what they reveal but what they hide that is important.

I like my bags. They get used as trash bags for the bathroom, lunch sacks, padding for packages, etc.

I'll be able to join that in about a year. Just mailed my stuff to the ATF today to build one as an sbr.

You're going to start triple checking that from now on. I know I do now.

Re: This Gun Instructor Says Many Who Carry A Gun Aren't Trained To Respond To A Shooter

Considering that if you go to any training at all you get more training than 50% of the sworn law enforcement officers in the country receive. I’m pretty sure it was Col Jeff Cooper who said “owning a guitar does not make you a musician”. Of course, he’s right, and (although I actually AM a musicia...

Re: This Gun Instructor Says Many Who Carry A Gun Aren't Trained To Respond To A Shooter

First, he makes a grossly inaccurate assumption that someone in the 50-person congregation at Southerland Springs had a gun and simply didn't try to shoot. Garbage! If that were true, then it would have come out by now. Also, with slightly over 4% of the population having an LTC, the chance that an...

Re: Cleburne 6.5 creedmoor

It’s going to be short range most likely. So I’ve already talked to her about drift and drop difference being negligible for her (300 and in). Be mainly punching paper, but occasional deer or hog shot. Range is out on her stepfather’s land max is probably 280 yards.

Cleburne 6.5 creedmoor

My sister is looking into a rifle. She was thinking 6.5 creedmoor but was wanting to try a few rounds first to compare to a 308 (what her husband and I both have). Don’t suppose anyone out in that area that could help?

I was planning in December since I get 3 paychecks that month. So yeah, timely indeed.
