Re: 2017 NRA Board of Directors Election

If we don't get a ballot in the mail by the end of the week, just call the 877 number I'm guessing? Called and was told since I get a digital copy of the magazine, that my ballot will be arriving later. I'll post when it shows up. Ballot arrived sometime between 2/18, and 2/20. Was in the box today.

Multiple Intruders

Why I like to sleep with my AR next to my bed. First couple of shots would probably send them running, but still like having the extra rounds.

If (once again if) I remember correctly it isn't actually black powder season as it is muzzle loader season. It has to be an actual muzzle loader.

Never seen it, never heard of it first, second, third, or whatever hand.

Re: Interesting Legal Issue

By no means a lawyer. You can get into a Costco without a membership. One of their gift cards, and (so I've been told) if you are buying alcohol. Never tested it, as I don't want to give them my business. Seems odd that I wouldn't be trespassing, but a member would be. Guess it really depends on the...

I'm none of the above, but seems that the yield sign would take precedence.

Re: Research Help Needed!

You're talking about 7 counties over a 5 year period. I'm not saying it can't have happened, but that is a lot to try to sift through with not much to go on. Several search iterations across google and bing turned up nothing. As well as a search of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals records for tho...

Just have to pay attention to details. When it can be picked up, scheduling an appointment, what loading is available, etc.

Re: Accurate statistics

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr65/nvsr65_04.pdf Is the final tally for 2014 from the cdc. 32,295 total deaths for 14 years old, and younger. Sadly the next step is 15-24 which kind of throws the ability to check anything under 18 for the most generous definition of child. 50 deaths due to ac...

Look into a Gerber Shard as well. Is a keychain thing, tiny nail puller/pry bar, bottle opener, flat/phillips screw drivers. The best surprise Christmas present I've gotten.

With a daughter on the way I'll certainly look into it. I can certainly handle teaching safety but another person's view never hurts.

Re: What Would You Do?

Put on my armor plates, sling my AR, have girlfriend get her pistol, call 911, and then flip on front lights. I'm not going to tip them off that I know something is going on until I am as prepared as I can be. They most likely will run off. However if they don't, I don't want to try to do all of tha...
