Re: NRA National Meeting May 3-6 -- Anybody Worried?

still waiting for mine - but now i am starting to think if it came in a really cheap looking package i may have mistaken it for junk mail and thrown it out. There's very little chance of that. It came in a bubble padded envelope about as big as a piece of printer paper. Y'all remember when Ralphie ...

Re: NRA National Meeting May 3-6 -- Anybody Worried?

For all you out of towners, the DART line is nowhere near as complicated as it looks. The orange, red and blue lines all run directly through downtown and all 3 stop at the Convention Center. Then you walk a little over 150 yards (under a cover) and boom you are right there. The green line is a lit...

Re: Why Is Passenger Asked For I.D.?

My mentality is if you aren't doing anything illegal you shouldn't have anything to worry about. A buddy of mine got pulled over once (we were teenagers) and I didn't have my ID on me and the LEO asked for my ID and I told him I didn't have one and he just said "ok" and went about his bus...

Re: NRA National Meeting May 3-6 -- Anybody Worried?

Still waiting here too. The one thing that has me concerned - not worried - is the self-proclaimed pro-gun guys that plan to show up in anti-NRA t-shirts to protest the NRA leadership at the NRA event. In my view, this does not solve any grievances and only serves to strengthen the enemy. Thoughts?...

Unfortunately all I can carry to work is an empty holster. Employee handbook notice and all... For what it's worth, I've been taking Plano's Citizen's Police Academy. Re: Most Awesome Cop Ever

Great experience getting pulled over for speeding today by Plano LEO. I'm not sure how fast I was going down Plano Parkway but saw the LEO make a U-Turn and flip the lights on. After pulling over I I stayed on my bike, left my helmet on and kept my hands on the handle bars until he came up behind m...

Re: M&P®380 SHIELD™ EZ™ Consumer Advisory

Personally, I find safety's on a carry gun to be pointless. A trigger safety is good enough for me. But for curiosity sake, is that advisory for the +P and +P+ ammo or just any high grain ammo that causes "high" recoil? The web site says not to use +P or +P+ ammo in that gun. As far as a ...
