Re: Need a holster carry position recommendation

You might consider cross draw at 9:00 position. I spend a lot of time in the truck and this works for me. No issues with the gun and the seat and it isn't trapped by the seat belt. Took a couple tries to get the cant adjusted correctly and now IWB is on the left and OWB is on the right.

Re: Drilling precision holes

The typical at home type drill press will not have the spindle stability to hold close tolerances. This would be better accomplished on a small vertical mill. Depending on the material used for the plate you can hold tolerances within .005" by stepping the hole and using a new drill for the fin...

Re: Alien Gear Double Stack Magazine Holster

Like you, I am pleased with the 3.0 holster. I ordered 2 of the double stack mag carriers. My initial impression is that they are too bulky for IWB carry so I have them set up for OWB. I like being able to adjust the carry angle.

Re: After shooting phone calls

If ever in this situation, I will do the following in this order. 1. Call 911 and state my name, location, a person has been shot and their condition. They will try to keep me on the line. 2. Hang up on 911. 3. Call my attorney and explain situation. 4. Wait for police to arrive. 5. Follow attorneys...

Henry has a new model called the Long Ranger in .308.

Re: Pokemon Go! as a nuisance to other outdoor activities

I see a lot of people hating on the game and the effects it is having on those who don't choose to play. The real problem seems to be those few who can't walk and chew gum at the same time. It's very similar to the way some people feel about us and our guns. A small percentage of people using the pr...

Re: Ok, I'm calling it - the Panic of 2016 is on

PSA is "out of stock" on most AR parts and assemblies but they had stripped lowers this morning, so I got 2 on order just in case I get the urge to build something. Bud's also seems to be moving slowly. I purchased a new CZ-75-B SA last Tuesday and still haven't received shipping confirma...

Re: CZ 75

Just wanted to stop in and say thanks to everyone who contributed to the threads referring to CZ and/or Cajun Gun Works. I've been looking for a steel 9mm and had almost decided on the Wilson Combat/ Betetta 92G Brigadier, until I ran across this thread and began researching the CZ. I called CGW for...

4" XDS .45 w/ XTP's and CT laser on the night stand. 12 ga. w/ 00 buckshot leaning in the corner. A national champion martial artist w/ Samurai swords in the other bedroom. A very large and protective Akita in the living room. We're good to go.

The holster is a Wilson Combat Lo Profile II. The belt is a black bull hide with black square buckle from The Beltman.
