Re: (Kimber) The Dreaded Call After Amazing Range Time

This is what has always kept me from owning a Kimber. The way my luck would have it is I wouldn’t be the one who got the “REAL GOOD ONE” I’d get the one that cracks or can’t make it through a mag. My experience with 1911’s thus far has not been good. All of my friends I’ve shot of various brands hav...

Re: Dick's Sporting Goods to destroy all unsold firearms after Parkland shooting

Dick’s has never really been a good store to begin with. They are like Bass pro with their prices which are always over inflated. I haven’t shopped there in a long time. The last two items I bought from them were some 5.11 pants that were on close out that they were phasing out to carry their own br...

Re: Remington 870 w/detachable magazine

Rem 870 or Mossberg 590
Both solid choices.

The 870 has a HUGE aftermarket following if that appeals to you.

Re: Recommend Light/Laser or Just Light?

The Inforce aplc is what I use on my Glock 19. It was specifically designed for Glock pistols and 19 in particular. It has paddles you depress that are stippled from the factory and is more natural to use. When you keep you finger off the trigger you can naturally go to one of the paddles. It’s ambi...

Re: Is the .40 dead?

I think 40 is a good caliber but I’ve always felt people who shoot 40 can’t make up their mind on if they want a 9 or a 45. I think 40 just came a little late into the game kind of like 357 sig. had these been around a long time ago we might not be having this conversation.

Re: Taurus Model 66 .357 7RD - Opinions?

I wouldn’t buy another Taurus to save my life. I own a model 85 and it’s been a decent little gun for a throw away. Taurus is so hit or miss and there is a reason they are cheap and it’s definitely not value. Save your pennies and buy a Ruger or a S&W

Re: M&P®380 SHIELD™ EZ™ Consumer Advisory

Personally, I find safety's on a carry gun to be pointless. A trigger safety is good enough for me. But for curiosity sake, is that advisory for the +P and +P+ ammo or just any high grain ammo that causes "high" recoil? I suppose, but a case could be made that trigger safetys are pointles...

Try these guys. Bravo concealment. They are made in Texas and as far as OWB kydex holsters they are the best I’ve tried. I can conceal my Glock 19 no problem with my holster from them.

Re: This sends a pretty strong message.

Believe it or not I know more people who carry without one in the chamber than not. Most can’t get over the mental aspect of a bullet in the barrel. Heck it took 3 years of me carrying everyday with one in the chamber and the gun (a Glock) not having a safety to convince my dad that if done safely a...

Re: What does your EDC setup look like?

Everything I carry is subject to change as I am a gear nerd but there are a few items that are staples that I constantly keep in the rotation. EDC guns : Glock 43, Glock 19, Ruger SP101 357 mag EDC knives: Spyderco delica 4, Spyderco paramilitary 2, Spyderco Manix 2, Spyderco lady bug, Benchmade gri...

Not a fan of that kind of clip.

I like Soft loops with pull dot snaps or belt loops.
