Re: Unlicensed Carry on Private Property

I don't know where it is stated in the law, but I was under the impression I can carry my handgun while hunting on someone's property with their permission. (b) Section 46.02 does not apply to a person who: (3) is engaging in lawful hunting, fishing, or other sporting activity on the immediate prem...

ENTERPRISE, my great uncle Tillman Dial Griffin served under Gen. George Patton during the battle of the bulge, my grandfather Clarence Calvin...

Re: Lt Governor

Over the past month I have taken up providing an armed presence in a local church, the preacher wants to get his LTC, the associate preacher is a LEO but isn't always there and has other duties during service. I sit close to the back door and my only task is to watch the entrance to the church! My u...

Re: invest in a belt!!!

I have had my belt since 95, wide enough it barely fits thru the belt loops on my jeans, but it easily supports my P14, mag pouch and a knife, the belt could double as a saddle cinch!

Re: Stolen HPD gun turns up in Corpus Christi - 8 yrs later

When police were in the area, they noticed a white Chrysler 300 that failed to signal a turn, leading officers to conduct a traffic stop, officials said. See what happens when you don't use your turn signals? :biggrinjester: Stolen guns suddenly appear in your vehicle? :biggrinjester: I can just he...

Re: CC in banks

Late to this thread and don't blame the OP for asking a question about carry. To all those that use Wells Fargo I suggest you hide in shame as you are dealing with the most crooked finance company on the market. Bank of America takes the second spot. Isn't that a bit like saying that one is a disho...

What AR-15's?

I’m not hiding the fact that I own multiple ARs. If you’re afraid for your 2A right and your firearms it is time to use them.

:iagree: when it's time to hide them, it's time to use them!

Re: Residential coyotes

My sister lives in a very nice subdivision north of Ft Worth, her property abutts a large rural area, she says she has quit a few coyotes that are very brazen, told me she went to feed her chickens and there were two circling her chicken coop trying to figure out how to get to the chickens, when the...

Re: Now this is the reason why I carry

If someone pulls out a weapon within a reasonable distance, do any of you think it would be good to go ahead and draw your own? Even if you just hold it at your side, having it out and ready would seem prudent and shorten reaction time if something more happens. Without hesitation, yes - I would. :...

Re: Added another Pistol

Thanks guys, and yes just two! I had just one for the last 24yrs, never saw a need for another one. I have complete faith in my paraordnance, it always goes bang when it's suppose to, never a hitch or hiccup!
