Re: Deal alert Remington range bucket 9mm 11.4 cents a round after rebate

Went to the Academy in West El Paso. No joy. I was told it would be a Black Friday special with a limited amount of ammo.

Re: How Effective are Target Wadcutters as a Self-Defense Load?

I have no personal practical evidence of this. The man who instructed me in revolver shooting was the Range Officer at are local PD. He would load wad cutters backwards ( he called dum dum rounds) and said they made good SD rounds.

Re: Gun Safe

I bought a 48" model from lowes. I later saw a 60" box I could have ordered from Home Depot..... That one would have been perfect. I did get a 32 or 36 inch one to hold ammo. The small one they carried in the store. I think the H D ones are from Rigid.

Re: Gun Safe

Gun safes are a good idea, but from what class of citizen do they generally keep your goods safe? Family/friends and the odd service guy with sticky fingers? No doubt quite determined thieves may take the time, tools and effort to steal your guns by assaulting your safe, but I don't recall the last...

Re: Tool box for an 11 year old.

At 11, I had access to all my Dad's tools. I had no need for a seperste set of tools. However, I had to take care of those tools and leave them where and how I found them or lose the private of using them.

Re: In your home with workmen present

I rarely have a workman in my home as I do most of the repairs myself or have good friends who are professionals at things I can't do. When I have had a tech. In my home, I never let them interact with my dogs . I want them to remain strangers to my dogs.

Re: Getting my CHL back after DWI Suspension

I don't want anyone you has had the lack of judgement to have committed a felony or receive a DUI to process a firearm. How am I assured they won't have another moment when the can't behave responsibly? You are no more guaranteed that, than I am guaranteed you'll never screw up. Or anyone else here...

Re: Getting my CHL back after DWI Suspension

I've had two fiends killed by a DUI drivers. Another guy I knew kill himself and a family of seven while driving drunk. Even if no license is required, I would not allow a person to legally carry if they were found guilty to a DUI or even plead one down. Their judgement obviously can't be trusted .
