KEL TEC PMR 30

My friend bought an interesting pistol for home defense. The KEL TEC PMR 30 is full sized, is light as a feather and holds 30 rounds of .22 Mag. The pistol is accurate and has very little recoil.

Re: Has anyone heard from Mr Cotton?

Me. Cotton Just because a contractor is bonded doesn't really mean squat to you unless you require them to provide you with a payment and performance bond ( most residential contractors won't be able to provide this) .Also make sure they have a builders risk insurance policy as they will be working ...

Re: Pros & cons comparing rifles w/ shotguns using slugs?

For hunting bear my friend took his with a .338 Win Mag. He said most of the guides carried a .300 Win Mag. Many guides also preferred and carried a .460 pistol. For a weapon preferred to kill a rushing bear at close quarters the 12 ga shotgun with buckshot and slugs was the weapon of choice . As fa...

Re: Pros & cons comparing rifles w/ shotguns using slugs?

I have two friends who went to Alaska on guided hunts. The " latrine" and " camp" gun of choice was a 12 ga loaded with a round of buckshot followed by slugs.

Re: El Paso LEO in counter

Just because there is no fence or guard post doesn't mean you aren't on federal property. I spoke with my COE buddy today . He said that the federal gov. had deeded all land which loop 375 uses to the State of Texas. He said an MP has no jurisdiction as the land as it is not Federal property. Addit...

Re: Water vs Bullets?

Easy test. I tested my carry ammo one year. I put two dozen in a milk jug full of water and pulled two out approximately every month. After the year was up all 24 went bang just like the others. I did rote the water every month as it water to grow stuff. Bleach a few times as well. Also I have had ...

Re: Woman calls 911....Get shot

Interesting to note that after all these weeks, no conclusions have been reported by the Police. I guess the city and the Police are just hoping this goes away.

Re: Woman Pulls Gun In Fight for Last Notebook

What I read seems to say that a mother pulled her gun to protect her daughter, who was being attacked. She didn't pull the gun and say the last notebook is mine. The headline leaves a lot to be desired. :iagree: The Mom may be completely justified . Will be interesting to see what the security tape...

Re: ER nurse illegally detained?

Every story is different. Did she physically attempt to stop the officer from drawing blood or did she refused to draw blood? Who cares. The patient had been omitted to the hospital and was under hospital care. The Officer had no right to preform or demand a blood draw. This Officer ( or two) shoul...

In my home, they are going to have to come to me where I have a defensive position and they will be back lit for me. Besides, I'm well insured and they can have my 20 year old TV.
