Re: ...820 pound wild hog in his front yard

A friend of a friend just got through his run in with wild hog here in North TX. Supposedly he saw him and shot him with his 308. Boar dropped to the ground. As he (friend of a friend) approached him the boar suddenly got up and proceeded to rip the inner part of his leg wide open with his tusk befo...

Re: Woman calls 911....Get shot

Probably wasn't hate crime, however nothing can nor should be ruled out. This character should never have been given the job in the first place. Short time on the job and already complaints piling up, now a dead woman. My opinion, nervous nelly shady character who got in on the coattails of affirmat...

Re: Woman calls 911....Get shot

Does anyone know why neither police officer's body cam nor cruiser cam were on, if the officer felt threatened or if they both felt they were getting into sketchy situation, should it not stand reason that at least one of those 3 devices would have been turned on? :waiting: One thing is almost certa...

Re: Kudos to Crossbreed

I've carried Crossbreed Supertuck now for the last 12 years. I'm carrying my p229 w/rail in it as I'm typing this. It is by far the most comfortable iwb holster I've ever owned. Two days ago I spent good 4 hours outside mowing in the heat of the day with my 229 riding iwb. Approximately 34 ounces bu...

Re: This is SO Wrong...

I don't like this and frankly this is not what I voted for. Innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. This also sets a bad precedent for when another liberal monster gains power. Bad, bad, bad. :banghead:

Re: I've always wondered about the G17

I personally always preferred 19. That extra muzzle and grip length seems small on paper, but I could never get a truly comfortable carry with 17. Printing obviously is not an issue now.

G19 carries like dream.

Re: Woman calls 911....Get shot

Too many are being hired based on their ethnic background solely for the sake of diversity. Many good candidates, some with extensive military experience, are passed on because of their tattoos or lack of callege degree etc. If you work for PD now or have someone close to you that is, especially in ...

Maybe it's the cost issue and after LTC fee reduction kicks in he will be able to get it.:

Glad you are enjoying your new gig. The house thing is just the devil trying to spoil things for you and cause distress. I pray that Lord sorts these things out for you and wish you safe time on the new job.

Re: Recommended First Aid training

How much is the "Medic 1" class? I know that an ECA course will run you between $375-$450 up here (training division as an example). It is not ALS of course, but for what it is, you do get exposure to a wide variety of medical and trauma topics & skills. After completing the course you...

Re: My new toy

Looks really nice. I have 3" in my side mounted shell holder (my 870), but I keep 2 3/4" of 00 hornady in the tube. Those 3"'ers are a bit stout to say the least.

I think mossberg definitely scored a winner with 590 shockwave. :thumbs2:

Re: What exactly did Trump Jr. do wrong?

Where was all the outrage when Obama meddled using our money in Israeli election etc.? How about that detestable witch and her real collusion with foreign governments? Many things I'm not a big fan of when it comes to Trump, his kids (not elected) and SIL in high positions that appear nepotistic to ...

Re: Disclosure of information on weapons involved in ND's and other mishaps

The incident is the second time a firearm owned by Arthur has accidentally discharged. Several years ago, a Liberty business owner and a friend of Arthur's accidentally shot himself with Arthur's handgun. I think we all know what the brand is... ;-) Hey, we don't know if it was Glock or.... :grumbl...
