Re: Anybody daily carry a single action revolver?

Here's the thing about single action revolvers....... when double action pistols became commonly available, people started carrying those. When the broom handle Mauser 9mm came on the scene, you started seeing those in old west. When the 1911 arrived on the scene, people started carrying those too....

Re: Smith and Wesson M&P 22 Compact

I recently had a 10-year old girl taking my Defensive Pistol 101 class with her 13-year old brother and mother. Glock 19 was too heavy and big for her, so she ended up shooting my Karh CW9. She did will and was able to do all the exercise but I did notice she had a hard time racking the slide despi...

Re: What Do Texas Rangers Carry?

If you want some good insight as what the Texas Rangers carry, carried read the book One Ranger by Joaquin Jackson, RIP. Also contains some really good information about the Texas Rangers in general. Jackson really liked his guns and carried a lot of them, mostly in the trunk of his vehicle. I read...

I keep mine about this length. Mrs parabelum is on board with this length. Any longer and she tells me that I'm between jihad and homeless :???: look. https://s16.postimg.org/op5rpkkq9/IMG_3596.jpg I understand it very well. Since I trimmed mine, people have started asking me for advice rather than...

Re: Businesses Posting 30.06/07 Should Provide Safe Storage

I see 30.06 like a dress code for underwear that is not visible. I think it's ridiculous that there's a criminal penalty for violating it (unless you're a cop, or an employee in your car). But nobody asked me so there is. Property owners should have no input over whether I wear boxers or briefs. :b...

Re: LDS Missionary smites robbers

Yeah he picked the wrong "soft" target wearing a tie. All LDS members are required to do two years of missionary service. That includes BYU football players, wrestlers, basketball players, and other athletes. The BG will probably rethink his career choice. That doesn't include Steve Young...

Re: Recommend a good weapon light?

Recently I purchased a Solarforce LM2 flashlight body [less than $20]. I bought a T6 1000 Lumen drop-in LED module [about $7]. I run It on two rechargeable Olight 650mAh 16340 RCR123A batteries [two for $15}. The runtime is over two hours and the case flashlight does not get hot. I don't know about ...

Re: Convince me that constitutional carry is a good thing

I didn't read the entire thread but my simpleton take on the whole thing is this. Just because someone took a class for something doesn't make them more competent on the subject. I know some complete imbeciles with 4 year degrees from good schools and I'm sure some of you know some dummies who have...

Re: Inspection Flashlight

Like you I have a special place in my life for flashlights. LOL I assume it's not so bright as to create glare from a printed page or objects one is attempting to inspect. You probably have cost me 15 bucks, or more if I really like it. We need to shoot. This flashlight has a lens on the front that...

Inspection Flashlight

Like many forum members, I really like flashlights and own quite a few. Recently I came across a flashlight that I HAD to buy and try. It is a Global G20 inspection light. It runs on 2 X aaa batteries. It is not nearly as bright as most of my other LED lights, but it's not supposed to be. The beam i...
