"rlol" I have never been stopped for anything in bad weather. I don't think you were/are alone in your priorities!

Re: Listen closely to the Scripture to be discussed!

Years ago I attended a young adult Sunday School class where the teacher did a series of lessons on a Godly marriage. As I recall, that scripture was covered. As you can imagine, there were no questions from the class!

Re: Houston: Woman Waiting Inside Car at Gas Station - Killed by Attempted Car Jackers

This is especially chilling. Bicycles? Just kill her in cold blood and then ride away? I can't even imagine what kind of home life these two thugs grew up in. We all know gas stations are a hazard zone, and things can go bad very, very quickly. But that video adds a fresh new emphasis to the importa...

Re: You missed one of the great Super Bowl games!

So I missed some jocks and probably some felons chasing each other around a field and slamming each other to the ground all the while getting worked up over where a man in a striped shirt placed a leather ball on the ground. I guess I also missed being potentially influenced by advertisers who pay m...

Re: Not watching the Superbowl

I can see the commercials later as they are always rebroadcast or on YouTube. No way am I giving that organization any of my time. How about everyone else? Am I alone? You are not alone. I haven't watched a game all year. Not only that, there has been absolutely not talk of NFL games anywhere aroun...

Austin LTC kills man in self defense

I couldn't find this topic, so MODS please delete if already running. http://kxan.com/2018/01/29/man-died-in-self-defense-shootout-in-north-austin/ A licensed to carry handgun owner shot and killed a man who fired at him in an apartment parking lot in north Austin Saturday. Very little details, but ...

Wild Shootout in Florida Caught on Civilian Dash Cam

This is crazy. The red truck doesn't know what to do. And its a miracle some innocents didn't get shot.

Re: Retirement grows closer

Congrats on being able to retire. I'm looking forward to the day when I can. It will be a few more years before my savings are big enough. I spent my 20's, 30's, and 40's raising kids and didn't put nearly enough away or I would be closer to the day when I didn't need a paycheck. Enjoy the freedom!

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

He didn't believe me and so he pulled his service revolver, removed the ammo and handed it to me. He put a dime on the end of the barrel and told me to fire it without having the dime fall off the end. I was able to pull the trigger 6 times in DA without it falling off... His look was priceless.......

I work behind 30.06/30.07 signs and carry everyday. BUT, I have written authorization to protect me in case the boss who said it was okay gets hit by a bus.

Re: Remington 870 DM???

This would be neat if it could use the normal mag tube as a backup or extra capacity. Load the tube, load the mage, when the mag is empty, it feeds from the tube. Other than that, it doesn't do much for me. Now if my SLP could be converted to a magazine, that might be a different story. The SLP is ...
