Re: Clinton Body Count

They are more deadly than the mafia, and just as guilty. How many judges and prosecutors do they own?

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

He didn't believe me and so he pulled his service revolver, removed the ammo and handed it to me. He put a dime on the end of the barrel and told me to fire it without having the dime fall off the end. I was able to pull the trigger 6 times in DA without it falling off... His look was priceless.......

:iagree:

I work behind 30.06/30.07 signs and carry everyday. BUT, I have written authorization to protect me in case the boss who said it was okay gets hit by a bus.

Re: Remington 870 DM???

This would be neat if it could use the normal mag tube as a backup or extra capacity. Load the tube, load the mage, when the mag is empty, it feeds from the tube. Other than that, it doesn't do much for me. Now if my SLP could be converted to a magazine, that might be a different story. The SLP is ...

Re: Remington 870 DM???

I saw an email a few weeks ago promoting that shotgun, so I looked at it on the Remington site. My impression is that it has pros and cons. Pros, reloads faster. Cons, you have to eject the magazine to top it off, unlike just slipping another shell into the tube. As I recall, capacity was about the...

Re: Remington 870 DM???

I may buy the predator model that comes in camo if I can find it. I really like the idea of quick reloading.

I don't carry a 1911 .45 acp every day, but they are my best gun for accuracy. There is nothing like a sweet trigger.

Re: Thumb break or not on OWB leather holster?

I use when of these when I OC a 1911. There are other good choices, but I like this one.

Re: Gun Friendly Doctor - What would you do next time?

Pocket carry isn't a bad idea Mr. Cotton. But, my doctor told me he didn't have a problem with my gun being seen inside the exam room. And that's the only place it wouldn't be concealed. Of course, there is the chance of a nurse that wouldn't agree.

Re: Would You Tell?

It just doesn't bother me one way or another if LEO knows about my LTC. That's part of the bargain when you apply for this license. And I agree that of all the LEO's I have talked to about it they are very supportive. After all, LTC holders have passed an extensive background check and they immediat...

I discretely pass my gun to my much beloved, and CHL licensed, wife when called to the examination room....if they won't allow her to accompany me.

Why do you think this?

If they run your DL# it will show them immediately that you have your LTC. Or at least that's what I've been told.
