Re: Interesting events at Boerne Walmart

For another thought on why someone might want that many disposable phones, watch the TV series "The Wire." It's great watching and one of the plot threads is when the cops hacked into the drug gang's communications by finding out where they bought their disposable phones. It was actually m...

Re: Speed trap from private property???

Is it legal for a police officer (motorcycle in this case) to sit in the driveway of someone's house and run radar? My seat of the pants (i.e., unresearched) answer is that the validity of the speeding ticket is unaffected. Whether the cop was properly on the private property is between the propert...

Florida Senate Bill 610

More and more businesses across the country are banning firearms on their property. Now, a proposed bill in the state Legislature aims to make those businesses responsible for the safety of customers who may be left vulnerable without access to their weapon. http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/florida/bi...

The Huffington Post? The progressive slant or perhaps the progressive 90 degree drop off the cliff.

The latest in a long and continuing struggle to get our political masters to adhere to the very law they impose on us. A never-ending struggle, I expect.

God I am SO glad those crooks are out of office! My guess is that Ashe knew that his new reg would be hung out to dry.......especially since it was enacted without any of the usual preceding period to take comments from the public - a highly irregular thing. I hope you're right, but I fear otherwis...

Religion and politics are poor conversation topics. There's a lot more to the world to talk about. And when some pink starts ranting, I hold my tongue and look for a chance to change the subject.

I fervently hope this bill passes, but in general, the fewer bills that pass, the better, so the more opportunities for a bill to die, the better.

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity

For that very reason I will not carry in any of those states until a test case has made it all the way up through the judicial system. I don't want to spend any time in their jails and I can't afford to be involved paying for litigation. It will probably take a longer time than I have anyway. You a...
