Re: My new video about every day carry (YouTube)

On my person: Gun. 80% of the time, a G17. 20% of the time, a G43. 1 spare magazine for either gun. Noyfe. Most of the time, a Kershaw Ken Onion designed Tanto Blur. I have other smaller noyfe's for when the situation demands it, and a couple of bigger ones too. But most of the time, it's the Tanto...

Re: My new video about every day carry (YouTube)

Only part I disagree with is the pen. I carry a steel barreled pen by zebra. They tend to penetrate better. The reason I like the inkjoy is because I can write much better cursive (which is my main form of writing). Writing is the secondary reason I carry a pen. It also makes a lethal weapon and th...

Re: My new video about every day carry (YouTube)

Great post for minimalist like myself. I almost went to check to see if my Leatherman super tool 200 was missing when I saw yours on the the table. My EDC is very similar but I carry a Buck vantage knife.like me your EDC won't take you through 72 hours in the wilderness but will get you home or out...

Re: How many Magazines do you have?

I just bought 3 wilson combat mags for a total of 7. I only own one 1911. I kinda wanna get 5 more mags for my glock 17. I don't ever carry more than 1 spare mag, but having 7 total just seems like the right number. How many mags do you have per gun? I only have two for my Glock 19 (my main pistol)...

Re: My first AR15/Build

I know some folks like his videos, but he's never come across as a particularly bright guy to me. Instead I've always seen him as someone that just enjoys hearing himself talk. The dude could talk 45 minutes about a pocket knife and only have 2 minutes of useful information. The other information i...

Re: Can a school override or give exceptions to the no-CC law?

My wife teaches some evening classes in a local school building. The building is owned and operated by the local school district, and during the daytime has come alternative education classes for some local middle and high school students, as well as some adult ed classes (GED, ESL, etc.). So obvio...

This is why Texas should still have a short rope and a tall tree in every town.

Re: not answering phones

30 days is what the state says in the FAQ section (I believe, or it's elsewhere on there) that they'd prefer you wait before calling. Call in the morning, 7:01 or so is good, when they first open the call center. 3. Once I submit my application, when should I expect to receive my license? DPS will ...

Re: not answering phones

Dec 2 is too early to call, I'd call 1st of Feb if I were you. I submitted mine 3 days after her and have my license in hand. I started calling January 5 Why would you begin calling DPS 30 days after your material was submitted unless there was a known issue or response required? I was literally go...
