Re: Getting my CHL back after DWI Suspension

I don't want anyone you has had the lack of judgement to have committed a felony or receive a DUI to process a firearm. How am I assured they won't have another moment when the can't behave responsibly? I am not one to judge, and in my opinion, one DWI arrest, should not be a disqualifyer for a new...

Re: Brandishing

A CHL/ LTC is not a title to enforce the law, regardless the story is true or not. Pointing a gun at somebody without need is offensive and I think any jjudge will see it this way as well. I'd say the topic author neglected to call 911 in case he really had a reason to believe there is a burglary o...

Re: Recommend an AR at $700 max

+1 on the Ruger MPR. Two stage trigger, free float rail, rifle length low profile gas block. Upgrades alone would almost be the price point Beruity's friend is looking for.

Re: Knife Question

IANAL, but I would say that since this is not designed to be "knuckles", but is instead an intergrated grip for a knife, then it would be legal. If not, then anything with intergrated finger holes, in the grip would be illegal. It would also look to be very difficult to actually use that a...

Re: Things and Sayings That Annoy!

Great topic!! I don't know of any sayings that really annoy me since most are so fashionably fleeting, but people who talk like they are on twitter, by using initials instead of words, i.e. BTW, OMG, etc really grate on my nerves. Also mispronouncing words, tends to make my me roll my eyes, particul...

Re: Chainsaw bayonet

I'm afraid that vertical grip would get awful slippery with zombie pieces, and would cause a potential hazard to your hand. Does it come with any type of hand guard, or zombie piece deflector? :smilelol5:

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 30 injured in mass shooting

I agree with the person who came out of their home and shot at the suspect. Never, put yourself in front of a tv camera, give your name to the media or anything that will put you in the cloud for the rest of your life. Let law enforcement protect your identity. The left and right can ruin your life...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 30 injured in mass shooting

There is no credible evidence regarding how the gun was obtained by the sack of excrement, it's possible that he already owned it, before the dishonorable discharge, or it was obtained by illegal means. In my opinion, guessing, or putting forth unsubstantiated theories, is no better than what the MS...

Re: Poll - How many rounds?

17+1 in my M&P two 17 round mags weak side, everyday total of 52 rounds. I hope I never need anywhere near that number, but the added weight keeps me from leaning too far to my strong side.

Will probably be the most intelligent thing they have done in a while. At least it will keep them busy for a while, and not trying to put together coherent sentences.

Re: TSA Contact

:iagree:

I guess it's going to become even more expensive, since I will need a license for each gun I own, as well as one for each new gun I purchase. I need to call the TSA, and see if I need to attach my LTC to any gun I sell or trade. This is very distressing news. :smilelol5:

Re: Any other women here?

Welcome to the forum, as well as the world of shooting and LTC holders. :tiphat: I can't recommend any specific women's shooting groups, but a quick google search for dfw women's shooting clubs turned up several results that you may want to look into. Also a lot of ranges in DFW have women's nights,...

Re: Do you carry "Murder Insurance"? Leftists attack carry policies

What's amusing is that in one breath the anti-gun left advocates for the requirement to carry liability insurance if you are to own a gun and in the next decree it murder insurance. There is no pleasing some people. :iagree: They push for mandatory insurance for every gun owner, and in some c...

Re: Beer

Got a craft beer fan here, even listed in my profile. I'm especially fond of Texas craft beers. I'm so glad the TABC finally got ordered to remove the rediculous restriction that any beer with more than 5% abv had to be labeled either as ale or malt liquor. I have several favorites, but I really lik...
