YES

Deci- means ten. Decimate means reduce by one tenth. Common usage has altered the definition in the dictionary, though. I pray they don't alter it further. :biggrinjester:

Omg I hated this so much when I was in the Marines. 'Supposubly' (supposedly), 'it would behoove of you' (it would behoove you), 'orientate' (orient), 'irregardless' (regardless), 'for all intensive purposes' (for all intents and purposes), 'upmost' (utmost), the list goes on.
