So y'all disagree with my assessment of violent media contributing to the rise in violence? Fine, strike that part and find fault with the rest of what I said. The left has an agenda and is willing to use every tool available to achieve their goals.
Perhaps I put too much emphasis on violent media and not enough on the destruction of the family and traditional values.
Removing God from classrooms, removing discipline from classrooms, removing high standards and expectations from classrooms, drugging every child that didn't fit perfectly into the mold.. well, I'm probably wrong about those being contributing factors as well.

Yeah, I played cowboys and indians, soldiers and all that as a child, hunted and ran wild in the woods. Watched a lot of war movies, read a lot of war books, played a lot of shoot em up video games, nope, never have felt a need to grab a rifle and start shooting people because I felt wronged by the world. Then again, my parents didn't fill my mind and body with powerful pharmaceuticals when I misbehaved, they whipped my butt.

An honest and accurate assessment of the causes of violence in America, regardless of the weapon used, is impossible for the federal, state and any large city to come up with, because the truth is too much for half or more of Americans to acknowledge or accept.

Violence has been glorified and promoted by mass media for the last 50 years (or more) via television, movies, video games (which is where most of the younger crowd gets exposed) and music. The progressive socialist left in this country has since the early 1900's done everything in their power to remove God, decency and respect from America. The explosion of easily obtained media glorifying violence has been an effective tool in the progressive socialists' drive to separate Americans from their God-given rights to self defense of their lives, the lives of their family and their property.
The progressive socialists' war on Christian and family values will continue until enough Americans wake up and realize that total destruction of rights and freedom is the goal of the left. Or the socialists will win and the great American experiment will end after only 242 years.
