Re: I actually agree with Bill De Blasio

The behavior evidenced by their exceedingly fascist violence has me wondering why the media continues to refer to these thugs as 'antifa', when they're quite obviously 'profa'...

Tractor?

Sheesh, we had mules.

Before the mules, I'd just hitch up the wife.

Re: Called out in church on my CC

No one is required to answer such a personal question. Without sounding pugnacious or in any way unkind, if I'm ever put on the spot like you were, I'd very politely answer that I'd be willing to discuss it in private...given this person's church position, I wouldn't want to sound rude to him, but m...

Solution: Drive to Maine or go with someone who's driving and share the driving and gas cost.

Or, don't go...

It'll never happen.

Re: Maxim 9

Pariah3j,

They can be made smaller by removing some of the suppression, (they come with another set of rails to accomplish this) but the trade-off means a higher decibel level. Sigh...

Yeah, I too am thinking about a Gen 2 possibility where the suppression is still very high without as much bulk.

Maxim 9

Own one? If so, how do you like it and where did you buy it? Silencerco makes them with integral suppression. Yep, no long tube located/attached at the end of the barrel. 9 mm high capacity, semi-auto. Can use Glock mags too. They look rather bulkily sci-fi, but something I think...I want. Due to bu...

Re: Suppressor Meltdown!

anygunanywhere,

A little thread interrupt: You mentioned Warren Oates, one of my favorite actors. Sadly no longer with us.

Ever see the movie "Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia"?

He was great in that.

Great movie overall.

Re: Houston Chronicle - Packing a gun at your business sends the wrong message

He doesn't like guns and doesn't want to see them. Ah, ok, don't look in my direction. Problem solved. He seems irked that some gun owners won't do business with businesses that ban guns, but turns right around and states he won't do business with the repair guy because the repair guy keeps out a gu...

Re: Who makes a good thumb break holster?

That Safariland thumb break holster is gorgeous and in my opinion quite reasonably priced, but I wonder how much extra effort/time is there to unsnap/unholster and have in your pistol in hand vs a kydex non-retention holster. I'm sure there's not very much extra time/effort, but still when adrenalin...

I bought a Vortex Venom from Optics Planet when on sale.

I love it. It's light as a feather.

I mounted in on my Browning Buckmark .22 cal.

Re: E-bikes: anybody have one?

TAM, Yikes, I'm not that kind of purist. I loath elitism. You're interest and desire to get one of these bikes is great! Once you get started and get stronger as you obviously know you will having been a mountain biker in the past, I see an E-Bike as a great idea. Having various injuries myself, I h...
