Re: Flat Nose 147 Grain 9mm

Thanks all for the feedback.

Given the flat nose, I wonder if it has a mushroom effect when it hits whatever it hits...?

Or, like a round nose it remains for the most part completely intact with little difference in appearance as it did prior to being shot?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Bottom Handguns!

So, the top handguns are fairly well listed, but a list of handguns to avoid may be helpful to the novice.

Some of my choices are: Lorcin / Jimenez / Highpoint

Please add your choices.

Thanks!

Re: Chronic Problems

I once considered a .22 cal conversion kit, until I realized the cost of simply buying .22 pistol (for me a Browning Buckmark with a bull barrel) was roughly the cost of the conversion kit.

I bought the Browning.

Re: Cold Steel Frenzy - Tri-Ad Lock Very Difficult

Update: Cold Steel advised - Open the blade to a 90 degree angle and leave it that way for a few days. So, I put it in a safe place and left the blade out at a 90 degree angle for a week and now (almost, but not quite) voila', it's easier to unlock, though it's still 'relatively' difficult. On some ...

Tasteless people exposing themselves! Recommend A Zippered Rectangular OWB Pack

I've looked and researched and looked and can't find one to fit my newest addition: A Ruger LC9S (that to be fair regarding Ruger as I was scathing in my disappoint with them, was fixed and returned in a week - kudos to Ruger) Yes, I can find a jillion standard issue holsters for it, but I want a zi...

I think with every day, I'm lucky to be above ground as I'm well past the 'sell by date' of my life. In my family we tend to croak early... Didn't Weiner (what a perfect name for a perv) already prove that or did this episode of idiocy occur previous to Whiner's imbroglio?

Re: TX: Deadly force in defense of 3rd party against unarmed assailant

Some folks are infirm with a variety of problems. For me, my shoulders are a ruin and both need surgical repair. That said, if I took it upon myself to intervene helping someone being violently wronged without using a gun, I'd be of little use. You don't remain young and nimble - if lucky you get ol...
