Re: Ever Used Glow-On Paint To Brighten Iron Sights?

Pawpaw,

Supposedly, this stuff brightens up the sight, so if one does have to aim, target acquisition is quicker.

Does it work well?

I don't know, but my eyes can barely see the sights as they exist on my little Ruger.

Ever Used Glow-On Paint To Brighten Iron Sights?

My little Ruger LC9S isn't a bullseye shooter I realize, but the 3 dot white sights it came with are pitiful.

So, I'm considering preppy them with a little drilling out of what's in there, then q-tip them with alcohol afterwards, let dry and start in with painting on the glow-on.

Anyone here ever do that with gun sights that simply weren't up to par?

Thanks!
