Re: Texas Rep. Armando Martinez shot in head, in stable condition

This doesn't surprise me. I'm glad he is ok and should make a full recovery, but I actually used to live in Weslaco, Tx. That kind of reckless behavior is prevalent there. The sad truth is whoever did this will more than likely do it again and someone might actually lose their life next time.

Re: "Waiting Room"

Finally moved from background under review to print pending. Does that mean for sure Ive been approved? 99.9% of the time yes. Although I have heard occasions where something along the way warranted a second look. Maybe rechecking fingerprints or the background check. However, based upon what I've ...

Re: CHL-100

I have never had to do this hence the question. Will DPS accept a CHL-100 that has been copied. I messed up and did not sign in one place for a student and he is not close to me. I mailed him a new one on Monday and he has not received it yet. Can I just scan a completed copy and email it to him? T...

Re: Best IWB Holster for "chunky" aka "fat" people?

I have actually considered using those ulti-clips instead of the clips that came with the holster. That is probably the only knock I have against the cloak tuck is the clips should be longer for full sized firearms. I think I may pull the trigger and get these if I can't find any in stores after th...

Re: Best IWB Holster for "chunky" aka "fat" people?

I am currently using the Alieangear Cloak Tuck 3.0 and have no problem with it. I've found for my body type and weight the 3:30-4 o'clock position works best for me. I also have their OWB paddle holster with their mounting system for my truck. Though I haven't decided the best location to place the...
