Re: Calaveras and Braunig Lakes

Once a court of competent jurisdiction rules, it makes sense to go with the court's interpretation. But until then, it doesn't make sense to interpret a law as being stacked against me when it could be interpreted to my benefit. I think your interpretation is quite a stretch. Good luck with that an...

Re: Is Cornyn's time up?

The way things are going, I know a few people who may not self-identify as Republicans in 2020. On paper or reality? I identify myself as Republican on paper, only because they are the closest party in existence I can call home. I know people who feel like, to paraphrase President Reagan, they didn...

Some people make it more complicated than it needs to be. Take a CPR class and you're immune from 30.06 without counting angels dancing on pinheads. Do you believe this to be true? If so, upon what is your opinion based? My opinion is based on the current version of 30.06 law. Some people disagree ...

Re: Benbrook PD Called for Gun Tshirt in Park

I don't know where you live, but around here a T-shirt is far more common attire than a suit at parks. It's not a matter of T-shirt v. suit, it's the provocative nature of some shirts. I wear a lot of T-shirts that have NRA or other gun/shooting related printing and I've never had anyone say a word...

Should I call the police if I see a woman wearing a short skirt in public? :headscratch

Re: Benbrook PD Called for Gun Tshirt in Park

I would NOT go so far as to say that open carry is an “in your face” type of provocation. It’s your right under the law if you have an LTC, and lots of perfectly normal decent people open carry with regularity. I myself open carry on occasion. However, even though I do not view open carry as an “in...

Some people make it more complicated than it needs to be. Tell your friend to take a CPR class and then he's immune from 30.06 without counting angels dancing on pinheads.

I watch a lot of "PD Live" and almost every time there's a passenger in a stopped vehicle they are asked for I.D.s https://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/564e06af8f5b205eadcf13c2f1798e24482851fb/c=4-0-636-475&r=x408&c=540x405/local/-/media/2017/05/09/INGroup/Indianapolis/636299392336760...

Re: Predator Control. Repel or Kill?

I have unwanted predators on my property. Is there a cheap effective way to repel them so they stay away? If not, what is the most effective way to kill them? I don't have time to sit around all day waiting to shoot them, so I consider poison but 1080 is not available around here. The unwanted pred...
