New Fanny (Belly) Pack?

OK, I think this might be enough to distract your assailant and give you time to draw from concealment.

Well I'm going to be shooting my new revolver instead of a semi-auto. I hope they let me shoot single action the entire time ;)

You can shoot single-action as long as you can get the required number of shots off in the time limit.

Re: Camping at Lake Meredith

Don't know about the location for camping and other activities, but it appears they do not allow varmint hunting on the land, only species listed in this brochure and only during prescribed seasons https://www.nps.gov/lamr/planyourvisit/ ... 7_2018.pdf

Re: Lost Handgun...

On a brighter side, your lost item may be covered under your boat/homeowner's insurance less any deductible. On a better note, NRA membership comes with a gun insurance up to $2500 with only a $100 deductible. All you have to do is activate it. https://mynrainsurance.com/insurance-products/firearms...

Re: Deferred Prosecution Question

I honestly wonder why we have to list all of this stuff when they can just look it up anyways -.-. Defered prosecution normally means they agree to drop charges as long as you fulfill a requirement. Many times that means they put everything on hold until a certain time is up, and if you have kept y...

Woman Pulls Gun In Fight for Last Notebook

A Michigan CPL holder pulled her gun during a fight over the last notebook in a Walmart. Interesting note per the article: Police said that the woman’s gun was loaded but did not have a bullet in the chamber. Will be interesting to see if she is found justified due to the circumstances behind the sk...

Re: ER nurse illegally detained?

Hey, why not wake up the judge or get the electronic warrant? Would have taken less time than the video.... That would have been the proper way to handle it. If they wanted to pursue potential interference charges against the nurse, then they should have taken her info and then let the Prosecutors ...

Re: ER nurse illegally detained?

Here is a good article from a police officer on the laws and procedures. Looks like the officer and department will end up being liable for an unlawful arrest https://bluelivesmatter.blue/salt-lake- ... est-video/

Re: letting instructor certification expire

I don't think the portion stating you are an instructor will make the LTC invalid even if you let your certification expire. The information pertaining to your LTC is still valid, so don't think it would require a change.

Re: letting instructor certification expire

What you should have is a Texas LTC, that just states Instructor in red on top. When your instructor certification expires, the LTC is still good, you just can't instruct, even though it says that at the top.
